Creamy Tomatillo Dressing
It’s been said that our Creamy Tomatillo Dressing should be its own food group. Sure it’s great on our salads, but people love them on our tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chips, and even by the spoonful. Our Creamy Tomatillo is made from tomatillos, jalapenos, salsa fresca, cilantro, and a blend of flavor-packed spices. #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Chips & Queso

Customer service is terrible. Previous reviews are right on par.

People were nice but the food is absolutely horrible. To make it even worse, I paid premium price for these “premium” tacos that was filled mostly with just lettuce. Will not come back. Will not recommend

Customer service is horrible.. I had order 2 shredded beef burritos yet they put pork ones when I went back to get them redone Melonie the girl that took my order on the drive thru said that I was wrong and didn’t order the beef burritos also I order the house dressing got charged but didn’t receive it. Out of the 20 times I’ve been here, they’ve gotten my order right once. I finally requested a refund today and will not be returning. The employee told me they didn’t have refund receipts? So he wrote on my original receipt. I hope I actually get a refund seeing as I got no food.

I don’t like the atmosphere, not like Cafe Rio at all. No personal service, you order from a kiosk, which takes longer than waiting in line. The food was bland and the pork tasted like it was boiled in water and put in my burrito. There was but a few customers, but it took nearly a half-hour to get three orders ready. Overall a really really REALLY bad experience. I don’t know what has happened to CR, but my past few experiences have been worse than not eating at all. I would rather eat a loaf of bread. Just awful. Sorry to say because I use to love them!

Very disappointed with our experience. We were on our way out of town and stopped in hoping to grab some quick dinner like we had done many other times in other Cafe Rio locations. The ordering process was awful. You can only order on the kiosks and trying to customize your order is near impossible on there. The family using the kiosk next to us finally gave up and walked out the door because it was too difficult. We only ordered 2 salads and it still took over 25 minutes to get our food; and our orders were still wrong. The tables were disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned and neither had the floor. I’m not wasting my time or money at this location ever again.

March 2023 update: I feel like the quality of this location is definitely going down. The crew makes online orders way too far ahead. They’ll be sitting in the window for 15, 20 minutes instead of the pickup time. Also, employees are not paying attention to how orders are being put in. I always ask for extra pico, I rarely get it. Or I ask for extra, and it’s left off completely. I wish they would pay closer attention. It seems like the later you order, the worse the quality is. This evening my salad had an extremely old, stale tortilla. Very disappointing as I look forward to the tortillas made in store. Quality needs to be paid more attention to. Edit: pictured is an entire piece of lettuce put into my salad. No one here is paying attention to quality

The most foul $40 I’ve ever spent. Quesadilla was super greasy, and the tortilla was undercooked. The side lettuce was totally wilted along with the salad I ordered. The horchata was basically just water, and the queso dip smelled and tasted like burned hair and dishwater!!!

I placed an order on Saturday for our Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday.

Almost no cheese in my quesadilla along with my tortilla not being crispy at all, didn’t get my rice with my order either. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Not to mention the self-serve kiosks weren’t workinh and the location is designed with the front counter cash register underneath the bottom shelf of the pickup which makes trying to talk to the staff awkward and making your purchase near impossible.
