It’s very frustrating to order food for pick up and find out when you get home that none of the orders were made correctly. We didn’t enjoy our dinner. I ordered enchiladas without lettuce with red sauce. It came with a ton of lettuce with green sauce. My daughters nachos were supposed to be plain with beans and cheese. They had tomato’s sour cream, and lettuce. My daughter barely ate any food. The rice for all meals wasn’t fully cooked. Getting food like this feels like somebody stole your money. It’s like they don’t even read your orders.

This is our last visit to Cafe Rio. The west point location specifically is the biggest joke. The line is always filthy, on multiple occasions they haven’t had the meat we’d like to choose. One of the line cooks seems to always leave while we’re in line causing a backup. The quality of food is awful and portions have gotten ridiculous as your prices go up. The salad was disgusting. No flavor in the minut amound of meat we had the tortilla was dry and hard the beans and rice were both equally hard and cold. You should probably also hire people who act like they like their job. Costa Vida is much closer. They just got our business.

Ordered online gave me a pinch of lettuce clearly just thrown in with no effort. They really show off their slacking when no one is looking. Also asked for extra pico and lettuce that doesn’t look like extra.

I always worry about my order when placing it online. They never get it right and I always have to wait longer for my online order than those that walk in.

It’s not very often that I’m disappointed at Cafe Rio, but I was on this visit. The lettuce was swimming in water. The meat was so dry it was almost jerky! The people were way more interested in their phones and own conversation than us. The place was almost empty and the lady cleaning thought age would wipe down the tables on each side of us with the mist of disinfectant. I will not revisit this location!

If you have the receipt with the order on it right in front of you, how do you make it wrong? It clearly says flour tortilla, black beans and rice. My salad has pinto beans, no rice or tortilla. Why do you even bother stapling the receipt to the bag if you’re not making the food right? Literally just a salad, it’s really not that difficult!

I enjoy their food, but there inevitably is always some confusion at checkout due to different people managing the order, particularly when it’s for multiple people. Nice, clean location, though. They’re also not usually as busy as some cafe Rios get, so you can usually get in and out pretty quicklu.

When we got in line there were 2 employees in front of us ordering food and talking to her co worker, (no problem). Then she asked if she could cover her shift, they legit stopped left the line to go check.. then started rambling about something else then 15 min later got our order taken. Then homie that was working the line grabbed a burrito and asked me if this was mine.. I legit had no clue because I wasn’t keeping track of the orders.. after we left there was a line of at least 10 people.

I was there today, ordered a tostada. Asked for some mild sauce, lady said it doesn’t come with it. Then she put the bowl in that heater that’s back there and walked away. The guy at the toppings station was working app orders I guess and ignored me for a while until I just left and went to Costa Vida. Management: you might want to train your employees on some Customer Service 101 skills. It’s okay if I have to wait a little, just don’t be so dismissive about it. Like, look at me and tell me something like, “I’ll be with you in just a minute.” Anyway, don’t ignore people who are right there, physically in your store, in front of you.

I have now asked for no quac and no pico 3 times now and have received both every single time. They clearly don’t read the orders and put very little effort into what they do. The mushy puddle of tomatoes they dumped on my quesadilla soaked into the tortilla by the time I got home and turned it into a soggy mess.
