Don’t do it! Just got food from there today for the first time. The quality of food made you feel like for sure you were gonna get food poisoning. We usually go to Costa Vida and they blow cafe rio out of the water. The lettuce was wilted and rancid, no cilantro or greens in the burritos or on the nachos, and the rice in the burritos was still hard. Save yourself the money and go to costa Vida or any other Mexican place. We got a nacho, tacos and two different burritos and all of it was so bad.

When we walked in. It looked liked a war zone. Food hadn’t been restocked. It was dirty. We love Cafe Rio but was very disappointed at this specific location. No straws. No Silverware. Had to ask to get more out. When the worker restocked the forks and knives. The worker didn’t even bother of restocking the spoons.

Great location! Went at the end of the night and got the last of the steak! When they didn’t have enough in the front the worker went to the drive thru area and got some from there! Everyone was so nice! I was glad they were open until 10!

Moderately priced American style Mexican food. They could definitely refresh the beans and rice. It looked pretty dried out instead replacing with new containers they just refill.. prices and meal sizes are decent.

We started going to this location shortly after it opened. It’s been great over the last year. Recently we had an experience with our order taking a long time but the people there made it right with us. Love the Birria tacos so so much. My favorite item on the menu by far. They say it’s limited time but I’m hoping it sticks around because this is what I come to Cafe Rio for, they are insanely delicious.

Wish I could give this visit negative stars. After waiting in line for over 10 min to place our order we found that there were no small flour tortillas for tacos as they had just been removed for the drive thru right before we ordered. I was given no estimated wait time and no communication about how long it would take to finish the order. We were just moved along to pay for the order. After paying I waited another 5 min as they completed everyone’s else’s orders. Then was told it was going to be an additional 4-5 min. I was offered a refund but no apology or any additional compensation was offered. What happened to good customer service?

We came in for dinner. Many of the items to put on top of the tostada I ordered were out and no one was in charge of refilling them for the service line people. The chopped lettuce was totally out, leaving only the lettuce that looks like it’s been through a blender. The couple in front of us and three people behind us thought the shreds of lettuce looked terrible too. We all had to wait to have them go to the cooler and bring out uncut romaine lettuce and chop it for our tostadas. There did not seem to be much in the way of teamwork or people assigned to support the line workers with making sure there was food and toppings ready to serve. The server who was preparing the food did the best she could under the circumstances, but the whole serving area was messy and disorganized.

If I could give it 0 stars I would give it -18 stars. Bro how much cilantro can you put in a salad with the entire stem?? You know it’s supposed to be just the leaves right? It was like 98% cilantro and 1.5% lettuce then .5 meat. This was not only disappointing in the regular sense, it was like your dad found out you’re failing 3 classes in middle school disappointing. Then the quesadilla we ordered was literally just soggy. Like so soggy I couldn’t believe it. They didn’t even cut the tortilla all the way though. Brother, I’m sad.

Went first time for taco Tuesday through the drive through. Drive through experience was not great. We thought we were just getting side tacos but they were put into entrees without asking. They then didn’t offer drinks when they did that. We went in afterwards to talk to them about it as we looked out our bill and they said we had ordered wrong… Also don’t order the chicken taco as you will get a taco with less filling then a Taco Bell taco. Sweet pork taco was good. A saving grace was an employee who overheard what happened on his way out and got us drinks.
