What a great experience, it was as good a meal as you would find in Prague! We ordered the svickova and the beef goulash and both were incredible, the bread dumplings were as good as any that I’ve had (apparently they sell it by the loaf as well). On top of a fantastic meal, the service was excellent and friendly, our waitress went above and beyond to give us a good experience

Delicious home cooked Czech meals in a nice atmosphere and with friendly, professional staff (Olena); they also offer non Czech options. The portion sizes were huge! I would only warn that the Moravian pork was a bit on the salty side, for those that are limiting their salt intake, but it tasted just like my mom’s, who’s an excellent cook!

This place is amazing! Totally worth the long drive! Our favorite was the potatoe pancake with brie and mushroom, but everything was really good. Except the salmon and barley dish. Super hard and under cooked barley. Just get all the traditional dishes, they were great. Can’t believe they have imported local beer on tap either! Both garlic and mushroom soup were really good too. There was a party and a DJ, so the atmosphere was a lot more fun than just a regular restaurant.

Excellent food, always fresh Czech beer and a great staff. It is a real treat to visit and enjoy. This restaurant is the closest you can get to Prague in Chicago. Highly recommended to sit at the bar and soak it all in. The staff could not be more inviting, helpful and friendly. A very well run and busy place.
