So we’ve been searching for our new local pizza joint, we order from Café Pizzaiolo our order arrived, and it was incorrect. However, we called back and spoke with Hobbie and he was quick to correct the problem. We ordered the fried cheese, which was still hot and delicious. The Italian salad was very authentic and the dressing was amazing. The pizza we originally ordered is on its way, however the cheese pizza that we did get was hot, perfectly cooked and delicious.

Food is good sometimes the service is disorganized and it can take a long time to get food or the order is wrong. That said the pasta and sandwiches are good. The smoked chicken with pesto really is superb. The pizza is also available. There is a good bar with a selection of microbrews, wine and liquor.

I was really looking forward to trying this pizza out. I had read reviews that it was one of the best pizza places in this area. I was really disappointed. I am 64 years old and started making pizzas at my 1st job at 14 years old here in the northern Virginia area. I mean I had to roll out the dough and make the pizzas. The pizza was a little greasy and oily. When I tried to pick up a slice out of the box the topping slid off. It probably could have used about another 30 seconds in the oven to bake the cheese to the crust. Most certainly not a whole minute or would have burned it. It was also very salty. I had ordered feta cheese on top of the pizza. I know feta is salty, but not that salty. I also ordered the fried zucchini. There was no salt ironically on the breading. They ignored my request for ranch dressing and gave me the marinera. The way they packed it into a box, they put the marinara container on top of the zucchini smashing it into the bottom of the box. A relatively small box. I want to wish you good luck if you try this restaurant.

The inside is small but smelled good when we walked in. There’s a good amount of outdoor seating as well. Pizza was served hot and prompt. The pizza was good! The crust was thin, cheese was good and it wasn’t too greasy. Would go back for another pizza or to try their other food

We love this place and appreciate the customer service. This story has a good ending. We ordered dinner here last night for us and guests. Unfortunately the restaurant forgot one of our entrees. I called to get it delivered. They said the kitchen was now closed and they had no delivery drivers so we could only get a refund. This left one of us without dinner. But a minute later, the young man I spoke with called back and said he would make and deliver it himself. It arrived a little while later while we were still eating. We very much appreciated this effort. Mistakes happen. How a business handles — and remedies them — is the important part. And this business delivered. Literally.
