Objectively not good food and pricey at that. Limited options. Nothing has added sugar or really flavor of any kind. I’d avoid it if I were you. Lots of better food near by. If it wasn’t in the Phipps it would last a week.

Stopped and grabbed a bite after walking through the conservatory. The food was fresh and very good. I had the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich. The menu seemed paired down but still had several options- see photo. They have water, tea, and beer but no soda or juice.

I love coming here. In the Spring & Summer it is so lovely to sit outside. I really enjoy coming with my friends and having Afternoon Tea, it is so good. They have such great Service. I highly recommend coming here.

Our party of four ate a late lunch at the cafe on Sunday 8/21. I ordered and was told that the item I ordered was not available. They said they go to a half menu in the afternoon. I never saw this information of the cafe website. I would have ordered ahead had I known that. I believe the young woman was making this up as she went. It would have been better to just say she was sorry, but the item was out. I ended up with the Caesar salad w/ roasted kale. I make a better Caesar salad than that. lots of romain, a bit of kale, and a so-so dressing. She could have just not pushed the salad, but told me briefly what wasn’t available. I’d look at the menu listing again, with that in mind. This is a cafe that has won awards?? maybe they are having trouble getting skilled help since the pandemic, but if I were to eat at this cafe again, I’d order ahead. two other members of our party also had the caesar salad. I think they might have been happier with it than I was. The only man in our party got what he ordered. He said they scraped the bottom of the pot for it. All told not up to past standards for Phipps. Too bad.

A few vegan options that sounded delicious but were unfortunately not so tasty. I had the checkpea stew, the chickpeas were under cooked and a bit crunchy, the stew was a bit bland, the dressing with the side salad was super bland. My mom had the bruschetta and the watermelon gazpacho, she gave them both a 6 out of 10. My husband had a cesar salad and also gave it a 6 out of 10.

They close a little earlier than the botanical garden does, but we had made it right on time and just before they closed! Had some iced tea and beer . Can’t go wrong with beer and botanical gardens Gotta get Yuengling!

We just ordered tea! It took SO much time to give us a tea bag. The staff was not friendly and seemed angry. I wish they had much friendlier staff during holidays season.

Lots of vegan friendly choices. My mushroom sandwich was very good, but the pizza is very small at overpriced.

We ordered online for pick up. When we arrived there was no sign for pick up orders, so my husband politely asked a worker “Sir, if we ordered pick up, do we wait in line?”. Before the gentleman could respond, the cashier interjected a loud, rude “YES!”. So we waited in line despite our food being ready and paid for. My $9 chicken chimichurri sandwich was tasteless and dry. Coleslaw, no flavor, tasted like you’re eating raw cabbage. Would not recommend.
