My wife and I have shopped in downtown Greer for a number of years and we just tried Cafe on Trade for the first time. It was an awesome experience chatting with the staff and owners andthe food was delicious. I had the creamy shrimp and grits, with a kick of spice. Everything is made fresh. We will be going back.

Delicious food for breakfast & lunch. The nicest staff/owners ever! It was my friends first time there and they let us try all the sides because we couldn’t decide and another time gave my kids fruit while we waited which kept them very happy. Love going there!

After noticing the sign for Cafe on Trade one evening quite a while ago, we finally made it in for lunch today. Oh my goodness. I’m so upset with myself for not getting in here sooner! The owners were so kind and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both ended up ordering breakfast items (even though it was technically lunch time) and we were so pleased. The grits and the sausage gravy were just to die for! I just can’t say enough good about it; if you’re in downtown Greer, you MUST make it a point to get over to Cafe on Trade!

1st time here, the owner is a good guy and took a few minutes to talk. Food was amazing and if you like grits and gravy this place needs to be on your bucket list. Lunch was amazing(cheesesteak) worth the trip but get here early because my guess is they fill up early.

Let me just say that Ed is SO NICE, unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to meet his wife, Kim, but his daughter, Sarah, was in there helping out! Every person inside the building, customer and employee alike, we’re just so warm and welcoming and friendly! The food was great, coffee was fresh, and we will absolutely be going back for breakfast soon!

Excellent food, customer service. Grits are better than anywhere I’ve had before.

Was a little skeptical, especially with various restaurants in the Greenville area boasting to be authentic NY style, but this place is way different!

Best hidden gem in downtown Greer. At first we weren’t sure that we were at the right place, it is nestled in with other unique shops around it. We almost left, but super glad we did some further investigation. This family owned restaurant will leave you feeling delightfully satisfied and eager to try their other dishes. I have never liked grits but decided to get them anyway to give the baby, however I didn’t want to share, I absolutely loved them!! As any other parent knows having a toddler going out to eat can be a drooling experience, they were absolutely fabulous, they immediately took the babies order first which allowed us to enjoy our time there without a fussing baby. They are so welcoming and down to earth by the time we left we felt like part of the “Cafe On Trade Family”.
