It was our first time here, and we were not blown away. The pot pie tasted the best. The mac and cheese was ok. My husband got a chicken sandwich called my hot honey and was completely disappointed. It literally just had little chicken nuggets in it. I’m not sure if it’s because they were busy or what. The bathroom didn’t even lock either. Our experience was not great. We did come on a Saturday. Maybe it’s better to go during the week.

This place is cute and has lots of seating. You order in line, kind of cafeteria style, and take a buzzer to your table so they can find you. If your food is ready (pastry, etc.) you take it on a tray with you. Service was very friendly and the wait wasn’t long at all. I thought the food was tasty, but not the best I’ve ever had. I enjoyed the hashbrowns served with cheese on top. The eggs in the sandwich were fluffy, but could have used some salt and pepper. Overall a tasty breakfast and with such a big menu, I’d come back and try other items.

We ate three meals here over the course of two days – 2 breakfasts, one lunch.

The staff is super nice. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but the man behind the counter patiently helped us pick out our food. I got a Sassy Molassy cookie, and this man hands me orange marmalade with a wink, and I’m thinking why would he give me this….weird.

You will not find finer people at any establishment in town. For that reason alone, I would go here even if the food sucked. But it doesn’t. Everything is good, but a few highlights for me are the tomato bisque (yes, the rumors are true—I did eat a whole quart of it at one sitting.); chicken pot pie, pasta salad (why get a bag of chips with your sandwich when this is available?); ANY cookie, and the Salty Dog on ice.

Sunshine sandwich with hash browns and OJ were good. OJ was fresh squeezed – really good!

I think they forgot the meat! I have been coming to Cafe Moxo for so many years. I love this place and the fact that it is locally owed. However the last few visit have been disappointing. The portion sizing on the sandwiches is sad to say the least. They told me they weigh out the meet now and should be 3.5 oz. Either way this is not enough meat for a Sandwich at the price they are charging. Sadly Cafe Moxo is not worth the money for me any longer and I will have to look for a new place for lunch.

I love this place. I come anytime I’m in Springfield. The staff are always so friendly and attentive and they get your food out quickly. My favorite is the gobble gobble , with the cranberry cream cheese it’s amazing! Thanks for always making me feel so welcomed

1st time visit, nice place. Bigger than I expected on the inside! Food was delicious, && the 2 young ladies at the counter were very patient and helpful while being busy!! Turtle Mocha, The Salty Dog, and the Chedder Bacon Biscuit I threw in last minute was very yummy!! && it was a BIG + the biscuit was still warm off the plate!! Highly reccommend!!
