We hosted my bridal shower over the weekend at cafe magnolia, and it was perfect! During the planning process, Jackie was very responsive and helpful. The staff went above and beyond to help set up the bridal shower and clean up. They were so kind and patient in taking care of everyone. The food was so good and everyone kept raving about it! I would definitely recommend hosting an event here, and we will be returning customers!

Still a great place after all these years remember going here quite a bit when it first opened up dark blue walls are a little weird and as I said makes for a dark ambiance the food is still great took a little while to get it and the protein portion of the the two salads that were ordered were a little small I thought for salads that both were around $20 each for lunch

My wife and I appreciated that they accommodated us even though we didn’t have a reservation. The wait was still under 30 minutes on a Saturday night. BYOB. The waitress was quick to cork our bottle and bring glasses as well as glasses of water. We had coconut shrimp for an appetizer. I’m not a coconut fan, but the coconut breading was mild in flavor, and it was fried nicely. I did like the dish. Salad was super simplistic. Spring mix, red onion, cherry tomato, and dressing. I feel like they could have added a little more to this. Entree was steak and crab cakes with mushroom risotto. Crab cake was super delicious. Steak was ordered as medium. It was more like medium well but still nice and tender. Mushroom risotto was good. I really liked the crispy spinach on the side. However, I feel like the portion of risotto was a bit too much. Creme brulee for dessert. The texture was good. The brulee on the top was thin and crisp. Overall, the service was great and it was a good experience. One suggestion to the owners would be to switch to compostable to-go containers, cloth napkins and paper straws.

I’m baffled by the 5 star ratings people give this place which makes me question their level of standards. This place is a disgrace. I’ve had way better food and it’s hard to mess up common dishes but somehow they failed every dish for me. This was my first time dining in and they seemed understaffed because my boyfriend and I were standing at the hostess stand for a few minutes with no one in sight. Finally, we were seated in a hallway by the window, which seemed really odd and unusual. The menu looked good although overpriced. I thought to myself, maybe they charge so much because it’s freshly made with high quality ingredients. Well, what we ended up getting was the total opposite. Poorly made, disastrous cooking. The calamari was shockingly grotesque. I’ve never had calamari like this where it was super dry and rubbery. You could barely taste the squid. It was very off putting along with the sweet dipping sauce which didn’t go together. We asked to switch it for the bruschetta avocado, and that wasn’t any better. The “avocado” was in this processed paste rather than fresh slices. The bread itself was hard, dry, and stale. I lost my appetite after the first one. For my entree I got the salmon wrap. The salmon itself was cooked okay as it was soft but the rest of the ingredients were poorly chosen. My leafy greens were wilted and not fresh, and it was sloppily put together. There was no sauce or flavor, just oil and some vinegar taste. It came with sweet potato waffle fries which reminded me of the calamari because of the dryness. Basically, it’s like eating dehydrated fries. I quickly lost my appetite and was very dissatisfied with the food. My guess is that the kitchen staff is inexperienced. There’s no real chef because there is a lack of attention and care to the details and quality of the foods they serve. Presentation, taste, and quality were all poorly executed. We will NOT be returning and wasting our money on their overpriced food.

Cute little place with some good food and great service! It’s a little more pricy than the other lunch spots around here, but it is worth it with the excellent service you get! My only complaint is the fruit flies. There were quite a bit.

The interior was not enticing to the appetite, and further, my husband and I were seated in a small room at a corner table where other guests had also been brushed aside, or so it seemed.

Lunch was very good to excellent. The second Vera knew just what I wanted (A jessy salad). I loved everything about the restaurant will come again. The changing area in the woman’s restroom should be large enough to accommodate and adult. Was slightly disappointed in that, but the overall experience was very good to excellent.

Cafe Magnolia hosted the rehearsal dinner for my wedding and I can’t say enough great things about this place. The food was absolutely amazing! Our main dishes were the seasonal salmon, the bistro tender, and the Mediterranean chicken. Each dish was packed with flavor and left you scrapping your plate for the last bite. Everything came out hot and the portions filled you up. We received many compliments from our guest about the quality of the food. My now husband and I will definitely be visiting again on our next date night!

Nice quaint place. The mussels were very flavorful, and my steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The risotto was not as hot (temperature) as the rest of the scallops dish, but that was our only real issue. I’d recommend this place for either a chill date night or an evening with friends. Oh, and it’s BYOB..but they have glasses and will pour as requested.
