Stopped for lunch this weekend with my father who’s currently at Shorehaven for rehab. Quick, friendly service, good food and fair prices. Lady at the counter, Kelly, was super friendly and helpful. What a great part of the Shorehaven campus to have patients/residents/guests to have an option for a change of scenery and the opportunity to dine together.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Chef Anthony’s famous Reuben sandwich and I have to say, it was truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The combination of tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and perfectly toasted bread was simply divine.

This cafe is attached to the Shorehaven nursing home, but cafe is open to the public. You order at counter and they bring to your table. Food is typical cafe stuff like soup, some sandwiches, and a good breakfast menu. I have only ever eaten breakfast here before. Food is good, but nothing spectacular. Seating can be arranged for larger parties of 10 or more.
