I came on a Sunday for lunch and it was pretty empty; it’s a spacious spot and felt a little too awkwardly quiet, but overall the vibe was comfortable. The menu is huge, and the options are very diverse, from classic Vietnamese fare to traditional Central Vietnamese dishes to classic Thai staples. The prices are also solid and affordable.

Spring roll was delicious, and the pho hit the spot. Cute family run shop with all the traditional dishes.

The service was good and fast. Iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious. Pancake was yummy but the bun bo hue was not spicy and kind of plain

My least favorite of the Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The spring rolls bring HALF a shrimp each, and a thin slice of pork. Definitely not worth the price; compared to other restaurants. Flavor is meh, I only bought here cause it’s open the latest.

I love to try new restaurants and this is the must-return one. We and Tom yum, penang curry, and the crispy noodle. All were tasty. It’s hard to beat the flavor, portion, and price in the chicago area. It’s a hidden gem.

No.12 and No.26。It’s a big bowl. It’s delicious. I like my choice of No. 26, which has shrimp kebabs and sliced beef, and lots of vegetables, and the noodles taste vermicelli and refreshing. With sauce, the taste is really great, sweet and sour, and it is comfortable to eat in summer. The noodle soup tastes great, too.

This place is known for Bún bò huế (Hue spicy beef noodle soup) and gỏi vịt (duck salad). Our group came for dinner and ordered a plethora of food:

I ordered the #23 – Bun Thit Nuong, a vermicelli noodle dish with grilled pork and shrimp on skewers, spring roll, and fresh herbs. To eat it, you pour the sweet tangy sauce into the bowl and mix them all up. This is my first time trying this popular Vietnamese dish and I must say I liked it a lot. You have your crunchy bits, barbecued flavors, different aromas, and clean tastes of the vermicelli noodle in a single bowl. I’m also a big fan of their spicy pork and shrimp salad. It had very strong flavors helped by a ton of fresh herbs, fish sauce, and spicy chilli. Can’t wait to return next time to try their famous Bun Bo Hue.

Great place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine… My friend (of Fremont CA) says this restaurant is as good as those in San Jose, California… And that’s a BIG ENDORSEMENT…. SO come and enjoy

They are definitely known for their Bun Bo Hue. I’ve been eating it since they were a smaller establishment. It is still very flavorful. I removed a star because of the goi cuon. I was given 1 shrimp per roll and it was filled with a lot of noodles. I also received my shrimp/beef/egg roll noodles after the people that I was with finished their food. They did explain that they were short staff. Honestly, just stick with the bun bo hue. I was not impressed with the goi cuon and the egg roll noodles
