This place was in a little rundown gas station, but don’t let that fool you. The indoors were well decorated in the staff were lovely! The food was just as delicious! A small and local menu.

I tried the apple turnovers and the breakfast, everything was delicious! I loved how they make the potatoes. The people were very nice, the place was clean and well maintained, it was good. I travel alot, and to be honest from the outside I didn’t expect much. This stop is a MUST. You guys at the Cafe, you guys are doing great!

As featured on Netflix’s documentary Gather, which is about indigenous people and our connections to food, Cafe Gozhoo is a delicious place to eat when visiting the area. The food selection is not large, but features simple casual food prepared with locally grown ingredients which are all delicious. I enjoyed the menu when it had more options, but the food is always delicious, and the place celebrates success through struggles. Watch the documentary, visit the Cafe and talk with Chef Nephi Craig. We recently had friends from Nigeria visit with us and he gave them a small tour and explained what the mission of the Cafe is. They left impressed and eager to watch the documentary. Highly recommend!!

I enjoyed a delicious takeout lunch today of fire-roasted vegetables with white bean puree, along with fire-roasted salmon, perfectly seasoned quinoa, greens, and vegetables, and scones and an oat milk latte. Even as takeout, the chefs carefully and thoughtfully “plated” the food with attention toward holistic beauty and flavor. I could taste the attention and care. It made my mid-day lunch a special, healthful, healing treat! I will be back! Masks required. Cash only, and open Monday through Friday from 7am to 1pm. HIGHLY recommend!

Netflix did a great job in telling the story of this place in a doc called Gather. My daughter & I stopped thru to check it out. I had the soup & sandwich of the day. my daughter absolutely loved the steak egg & potato burrito. Fresh local ingredients, great atmosphere & def top quality in the food, taste & presentation. Awesome place to make it a point to stop by & try out. This is a place that is making a difference in so many ways not only to the locals but those that come here. Much respect and keep going!! We will back!! ✌ oh and CASH ONLY, otherwise there is an atm down the road in Whiteriver at Basha’s
