It was a longer wait than expected but the food was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh with a twist on the speciality dishes.

I have been a chef in quite a few gourmet style kitchens. This is great sushi. Talk about a hidden gem. $60-$70 and my girlfriend and I are full and share a bottle of great Sake. The best soft shell I have ever had, and the sushi is absolutely to die for. Fried eel roll is my personal favorite, it is large. Anyone complaining about this place had a personal issue the day they came. The menu is authentic, not lacking descriptions.. You have to be a regular to appreciate this kind of place. The staff is kind and as attentive as they can be. This is the place to go have a quite 5 star like meal, in a very comfortable setting.

I’ve lived in Japan for so many years, and I miss real sushi! This is it guys. Small, quaint, and just right! Sushi chef and servers are all Japanese. Try looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant and run by Japanese- very rare!! Food is great!!!

Best sushi I’ve ever had in my life!! We sat at the bar and I believe sharing really is the best way to do it since the food doesn’t come all at once, you have more time to enjoy it this way.

Have only tried ronin sushi and was recommended by the Foodies Daytona Beach group on Facebook to check out Cafe Du Japon. It was a little tricky to find as the google maps was off but after finding it, was greeted by a friendly host and shown to my table. It was around 5pm so it had just opened and I was the only one dining. Ordered the sashimi and it was on point – order the fried tuna jalapeno dill and it was good. Would def return again with friends to enjoy some of the freshest sushi in Daytona beach.
