Established in 1952, in Karachi, Pakistan, the Cafe de Khan family are the pioneers of BBQ & Inventors of Chicken Tikka. Bringing flavors from a journey that began in Peshawar, traveled to Saharanpur, UP, India, and then finally settled in Karachi. The Khan’s was a traveling brand putting up food stalls at the famous melas (exhibitions) of Aligarh, Meerut, Nauchandi, and Kaliar Sharif. After operating successfully in Mississauga since 2009, Cafe de Khan opens its first US branch in Plano/Murphy TX, and the second one here in Carrollton TX.

As a proud Pakistani, I discovered the true essence of Karachi cuisine at Cafe de Khan’s buffet. This hidden gem captures the heart and soul of our culinary heritage, offering an array of authentic flavors and tender delights. My personal favorite was the Chicken Biryani and Nihari!

Went there for lunch for the first time, week days and week ends they do offer lunch buffet. They do offer catering. Food selections and food quality was excellent!!! Price is very reasonable. Food is prepared by chef Shakil. I recommend this restaurant!! ❣️

Honestly should give a 5 star for just the pleasant service. I didn’t fully catch her name but it was Precila or something similar, smiles on her the entire time. The food was great too. Especially the chicken Tikka. They also paid attention to detail with the presentation. The place is clean and plenty of seating. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area.

Chicken bihari was ok but chicken biryani was not a biryani at all. Mango lassi was sour in taste. They Need to improve food taste and quality
