North Florida Tasting Room
Dinner!!! So I reviewed brunch and have now been back for lunch several times but finally headed here for dinner. They have a descent selection of draft (4), bottled beer and wine. We ordered the beef carpaccio to start. This is one of my favorite dishes and I guess I love it even more now! Holy smokes the beef was tender, the sauce amazing and the dressed greens.. add the egg on the toasted points and there is a serious party happening in your mouth! We moved onto the entrees.. Scallops with Butternut Squash and the Baked Market fish. The fish was Cobia and it was pan seared and put on top of a daily risotto (mushroom) and had a sun dried tomato pesto on top. This fish was cooked nicely and the risotto was delicious. It was too much pesto on top.. a bit overpowering. There was also a strong fish finish.. not that it was bad just off putting. But the fish was enjoyed! Now the scallops.. thus might be one of my favorite dishes. Such a nice flavor profile with the butternut squash sweetness matched with the prosciutto saltiness and balanced with the puréed pistachio pesto and onion marmalade. Scallops were perfectly cooked and not a bit of grit.. great quality. True compliment to the chef that prepared it!

Fantastic amazing place where you can enjoy a very nice meal with a personal touch from Chef John. Fantastic service by Lauren made the dinner even more enjoyable. Great meal selection and better than that is they are very accommodating to your dietary needs (wants). I will personally attest that sanitation is a priority there before closing so I am comfortable to say feel free to go there and enjoy a great carefree meal.

The place is small so it gets crowded easily. We were told to seat ourselves and then waited a long time for our drink order and then food order. We ordered capuchinos and they were lukewarm when they brought them to the table. The food was bland and also only lukewarm. They served the worst hash browns I have ever had and everything else tasted bland and/or from a can, nothing was really fresh. The server also disregarded my friend’s seafood allergy stating “we don’t really serve fish” although salmon is clearly on the menu and when asked about it, she shrugged her shoulders. I cannot recommend this place especially if you have allergies!

Let me start with service was good. The waitress was so sweet. She did a great job. Atmosphere was fine. Nothing remarkable but clean so a plus. The food. Ugh. Bread came out moldy. We sent it back. The kitchen said it came in today and was fresh. I wont argue but I know the difference between dime sized rounds of mold vs some oregano leaves. It happens- food molds- but how couldnt they see it before serving. The kids meals were fine. They enjoyed them. Wine was limited but fine. My bolognese was cold. My husbands alfredo was broken. The flavor was good on both but execution wasnt there. Such an easy fix but wasnt a good experience. From the reviews maybe breakfast is the thing here? Bummed.

Today was our first opportunity to enjoy dinner at Cafe Cairano. My wife’s spinach ravioli and my shrimp carbonara were delicious. Our salted caramel pie dessert was a great way to complete the meal. Kayla’s service was exceptional. We highly recommend this dining establishment.

Wonderful little Italian Cafe that was very delicious!! The chicken alfredo was perfect, creamy and light; the chicken cooked perfectly. My husband got a burger and it was huge! The serving sizes are very generous with super reasonable prices. 6 of us ate and we got 3 of the chicken alfredo, a burger, kids Mac and cheese, kids chicken fingers with 5 sodas and it was just under $80 before tip.

Disappointing. It’s local, so had high hopes. Ordered a breakfast and coffee. Coffee cup was “dishwasher clean”, still had remnants of the previous spills on the outside.

I was taking a long trip from Texas down to Miami to see family and stopped here to grab a quick bite. And I gotta say, this was the best breakfast I’ve had in my many visits to Florida

Not the best looking place when you walk up. The worn out menu by the front door was a warning. I was served the greasiest burger I’d ever had.
