Without exaggeration the best coffee in Colorado, the best coffee I’ve personally ever enjoyed. My wife and I stopped here the first morning of our ten day road trip through the state. Over the last seven days of our trip we’ve hunted the state for something comparable and were left wanting. We woke up in Estes this morning and drove back to Canon City just to have another cup. The owner/roaster Spencer has a true passion for what he does and it shines through on every cup. This is our spot anytime we’re in this part of the country and will be ordering regularly to enjoy it back home in Florida.

What an amazing treasure of a coffee shop. I am so grateful to have it as a resource to the community! Delicious, skillfully roasted, perfectly brewed, beautifully cultivated flavors in a charming atmosphere. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. I highly recommend the cold brew and the kombucha. Perfect on a warm morning in the Cañon City sun!

Cute coffee shop. Limited food options, but the GF blueberry muffin was great. Coffees were great too, and the Chai! They do the Chai all in house. Grong their own spaces and all. It was terrific! Staff is super friendly and helpful! Definitely worth a visit!!!

HIGHLY recommend this coffee shop!! We tried a few different spots and this was definitely a gem. Spencer is really passionate about his business and that transfers in the flavor of the coffee without a doubt. Excellent service and very personable. Of course I had to leave with some coffee beans in hand. We will absolutely come back when we are in the area again! =)

I had the good fortune to meet Spencer and visit Cafe Belay on the grand opening of the shop. The space is just right, spotlessly clean, and Spencer was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed an excellent breakfast burrito and some one-of-a-kind homemade chai (in a latte) that was great.

Cafe Belay shines bright in every way! The customer service is personable, intentional, and intelligent. The coffee is impressive, and the food menu is limited but fresh. Everything tastes like it’s made with love! The windows are lined with plants housed in old coffee pots and the decor is simple and clean. Cafe Belay does a beautiful job of making every customer feel special!

This coffee shop is a gem and offers properly made espresso drinks, which are hard to come by! The owner is so hospitable and knowledgeable about his craft; he’s definitely a good resource to learn from if you’re not sure about the distinction of espresso drinks. The atmosphere was chill and inviting. Our oat milk cortados were perfect and the burritos were super delicious too. We highly recommend this coffee shop!
