Best food I’ve had at a restaurant In a very long time. Great staff and excellent service. Laid back atmosphere. Nice and cozy. Daniel is one of their cooks and really does an awesome job plating the food, cooking it exactly as it should be so that it tastes perfect and also having it finished and in front of you in a timely manner. 5 stars. Kamma has worked hard to make that place what it is these days and her staff as well. Great place. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience!! My husband and I had reservations for 515. We arrived and there was only one other table seated, yet we were seated at a table crammed up against the wall. No big deal, we just pulled it out and sat down. Our waitress was very dry, no greeting at all. We were starving so we ordered mushrooms for appetizers with our drinks. They were out of sweet tea, crab cakes, grits. While waiting on appetizer, rap music comes blaring from the kitchen, along with loud talking and cursing. I have been to Barron’s many times, but never in the evening. The atmosphere was completely different and unacceptable! Our mushrooms arrive, and I could instantly see they were different because it’s my favorite thing on the menu and I order it every time. I take a bite and they clearly have chili in the stuffing! I cannot make this up…. I asked my husband to try one, and he confirmed it tasted like canned chili!!! What is going on? We came in for a quiet evening to a classier place that usually has higher standards, but this was completely unbelievable. We asked for the check and got up to leave. The ONLY decent thing done, Todd refused to charge us anything and offered a free meal next time. He was very nice, but I doubt we’ll ever return. The music and shouting could be heard from the bar where he was serving customers. We don’t mind spending money for a good meal and tipping well, but for these prices, y’all missed the mark in a major way. Chili In mushrooms and blaring music?? God bless y’all.

In town from San Antonio visiting family. Barron’s has always been a solid choice for good food and atmosphere literally for decades. My first time in this newer set-up and it was great: excellent service, terrific food, clean restaurant and bathrooms, etc. A very good experience for our party of 6. Keep it up, Team Barron’s!

Cafe Barron’s has a consistently excellent menu including their one of a kind Hot and Crunchy Chicken which is the special on Fridays. The atmosphere is great for a date or good friends having lunch. They have expanded the restaurant and it now has a bar with seating. I had the Wonton strip salad with Grilled Chicken and an amazing honey-soy sauce dressing, and a cup of Seafood chowder. I was too full to finish it all. I’ve only had one poor experience here in the last 5 years and it was handled with excellence. I definitely will continue to dine here in the future.
