Tommasi ‘ripasso’, valpolicella, veneto, italy 2016 shows plenty of ripeness with dried-berry and floral character on the nose. Medium body and firm, silky tannins. Chewy and intense. Structured. Needs a year or two to soften. Better in 2020-2021. 92 points james suckling

If I could give Cafe 2825 one thousand stars, I would. This place knows how to do it right! Incredible service. The details make the difference. Food is awesome. I make this my go to dining destination for every special occasion. Highly recommend the fresh Mozzarella made table side as an appetizer combined with their fresh warm bread and then the Blueberry Cheesecake for desert (large enough for 2 people to be very satisfied). Every dish that we tried has been outstanding and the staff is very accommodating.

10 out of 10 !!! This place does not get any better and is worth the hype. From the ambience to the the table side food preparations, Cafe 2825 might be my favorite dinner please yet. And that’s saying a lot coming from me recommendation, for table side are all of them hAh but the cheese and pasta are a must. For entree, the sea bass was to die for and for dessert the blueberry cheesecake ! You will thank me later.

I had high expectations of this place and tried to get in a few times when I was down in AC. This was the worst meal I’ve ever had. The zucchini flowers were soggy and the cheese wasn’t even warm. Zucchini flowers are supposed to be hot and crispy. The veal parm was horrific. Most likely frozen. It was so watery. All you could taste was the sweet tomato sauce. The best part of my meal is their bought sorbet.

From the moment my colleague and I walked in the door, we knew that this dining experience would be special. We were greeted and seated by the owner who took the time to tell us the specials and recommended the wild mushroom pappardelle based on my tastes. The dish was fresh, flavorful and light. Don’t skip the tableside mozzarella as an app. Everything was to die for! Loved the atmosphere and the service was great.

This was my 2nd time visiting Cafe 2825. My 1st experience last year was amazing and I’ve been dying to get back since the minute I walked out the door.

The inside is very small but they have e covered patio outside. You must have reservations. The service and food was outstanding. One of the best I have been in years. They do have a few tableside dishes that is fun to watch how they make. They do not rush you. Hope to go back next time in the area. Don’t miss out going a must to put on your list to go.

Incredible food. Indoor had the most perfect ambience. We had the fried meatballs, long hots, clams casino and zucchini flowers for appetizers. Pasta wheel is a must and was so good! Everyone in our party had something different off of the menu for entrees and everything was cooked to perfection. Lemon sorbet was good but the coconut cream cheesecake was out of this world! No complaints!

Delicious food but tough to get a reservation. If you can get a reservation it’s definitely worth any trouble you went through.
