My husband took our grandson, Eedan, to the dentist in Jasper. They stopped at Cafe 257 for lunch. They brought me a BLT home. It was the best BLT I have eaten in years. The cowboy bacon was to die for! The sandwich survived the trip home to Denning, in remarkably good condition. It was yummy! The side of chips and salsa was wonderful. The fresh, zippy salsa is worthy of a nice Mexican restaurant! Recommended!

First let me say thank you to Ms Dee for the drinks they where the best, food was garbage cold no Flavor I order garlic Parmesan It did not taste like either one the onions were OK my fiancee order brisket tacos that work just a plum mess… If you are looking for a different place for food this is not the place to go it is c***** food the service was OK but the time to get your food was very very long We waited 35 to 45 minutes for our food only to get a togo box to take home cause it was cold

First time trying this place. I ordered to go and didn’t have to wait long. Ordered a $18.99 barbecue, brisket burger, onion rings, and chips,queso, salsa. So disappointed with the burger. The patty was burned an old. Maybe worth $8.99. The best part were the onion rings. They were delicious. Really was hoping this place would be amazing.

Have dined in twice. Enjoyed flat bread pizzas – especially the blueberry, goat cheese, and ham pizza. Burgers are tasty and meaty. Live music is a tad loud on Saturday nights. Good service, clean, and nice variety of salads, burgers, sandwiches, or pizzas on the menu. Onion rings are hand battered upon order and DELICIOUS!!

I have never had a disappointing meal at 257. On the contrary, I think their food continues to get better. Last night (Valentine’s) my wife and enjoyed the shrimp tacos and they were excellent. Taking home a slice of cheesecake to share, we enjoyed the unusual texture and rich taste. Nice-looking inside and out. Super friendly staff. Interesting takes on their dishes. What’s not to like?
