Absolutely love the warm friendly atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! This is officially our spot now. We went here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time.

Parking spots were packed which made us all think it must be pretty good food. Nope…not good….it was AWESOME FOOD! The service we received was outstanding! Absolutely one of the best servers we have ever had in our travels & in our own hometown. They had a really nice dinner bar with a great variety of foods to choose from including a full salad/soup bar with dessert. Dinner rolls & cornbread were also provided at the table and they had a fantastic full menu to choose from as well. This is a small town restaurant, nothing fancy, but it is nice & clean, great service & awesome food! The only negative we saw….& it was a shock when we walked in… THEY HAVE A **SMOKING** SECTION. Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves – right for smoking, left for non-smoking. Where we live it is law that our restaurants be non-smoking. (This is the only reason for not receiving a 5 star rating in every category.) We would highly recommend this country home town restaurant to anyone in or around Cadiz, KY. We will definitely come back here next time we are in the area vacationing!!

For a family get together on the lake we decided to try this restaurant. All 7 of us really enjoyed the buffet. The food was fresh and seasoned. The fish and chicken was outstanding. I live in Clarksville and will probably make the drive to eat here again. It’s nice to get good service, food and excellent price.

The “locals” restaurant. Good food with buffet at a very reasonable price about $10+. Service is okay but they can get busy and the atmosphere is “local diner” style.

The food was all good. You know a hole in the wall restaurant is good when you see the locals filling the parking lot for breakfast. It’s all good country cookin’. We ate from buffet.

A home-y place ❤ Today was my first time going. The waitress at checkout was so sweet to me. The waiter who got my drink was a sweetheart. The waitress who came through and offered cornbread and desserts was so sweet and kind. Even the other customers were sweet to me. I’m 9 months pregnant (due any day now) and the gentleman and his wife beside me paid for my food!!!! I thought the food was DELICIOUS. The sweet tea was SO good too. I cleaned both of these plates and honestly if they would’ve had cobbler or something sitting at the buffet I think I could’ve ate some of that too! I’ll be back after my little one is born.

Visiting from out of town, and so glad we ran across this place! Our server was fabulous. The kids and my husband all got the buffet, which was full of all kinds of fantastic southern staples (skillet fried chicken, cooked greens, fried cornbread), and I had the patty melt, which I would definitely recommend.

Took a run to Cadiz KY from Michigan, stopped in town for breakfast on the main drag. Was surprised they had a breakfast buffet at a low price and tried it. Small selection but food was decent. Service was good and the place was pretty well maintained. Could use a bigger lot for parking but all in all not bad for a small family dine in.

I had read good things about Cadiz Family Restaurant, and couldn’t wait to try it out. We went during the lunch hour, which was surprisingly busy for such a small town. It’s a cozy place, and the furniture is a little dated, but still well maintained. The dining area was clean, and the service was friendly. The buffet, which we had for lunch, only had about 10 items on it, including sides, but everything we tried was delicious. My only complaint would be that the ladies restroom didn’t seem to have been recently cleaned well.
