Pretty fun place. Great patio! A little loud with the traffic but it was a beautiful day! Fajitas were good, salsa was spicy, and margaritas were cold!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Iowa city. A huge selling point is the free chips and salsa and the $2 entrees and margaritas on Mondays (which are a fair strength and size!) It’s a younger crowd mainly, plays current music rather than mexican music. Would recommend

Horrible all around was scared to even eat the food I just bought the place is filthy and unclean and the meat in my tacos and sandwich stunk was to scared to eat it so I threw it all away

Told our waiter who happened to be a manager that my friend and I were waiting on one more to join us, who could have possibly gotten the location wrong because there are 3 locations. The manager brought us complimentary chips and salsa anyway. We thanked him. About 20 minutes later he came back to the table and asked in a very rude voice if we were going to order. I said we will wait 5 more minutes for our friend. He then decided it was okay to take away the chips, salsa and even the waters in his anger and side eyeing us the entire time. I will probably go get his name and post it here soon.
