They’ve really leveled up and beyond post soft opening. Returned last night with hubs. Starting from the warm bar reception, fresh Brewery X beer, CW tequila shrimp (and the accompany bread), excellent chips and salsa to the main entrees–quesabirria for hubs and Veracruz chopped salad for me. Highlight was Chef Efren’s flan–his mom’s recipe. Truly one of the most memorable meals. Service from bar to finish was perfection. Warm, inviting. Fun setting. Arriving hotel guests in great spirits. Can’t wait to come back. Our new go-to for coastal Mex. Outstanding.

Don’t be fooled! This is a re-branded Hotel Bar/Restaurant. It was formally known as the Boardwalk. Despite some updates to the decor, it lacks the music, vibe or energy we expected from the Cabo Wabo brand. Had they named it Sammy Hagar’s Beach Club, maybe our expectations wouldn’t have been as high, and we wouldn’t have been so disappointed.

Had a reservation last night for 2 birthday celebrations & we all had a such a great time. I had the pleasure of checking out Cabo Wabo in Cabo over 25 years ago & can’t believe that it’s now here in Cali. What a great place to hang out & enjoy the scenery. I absolutely Loved all the Red Rocker’s memorabilia! The only thing missing was Sammy.The food was great, servers, cooks & Shea (GM) were on top of it. Happy to support a California native. This was our first time to experience one of Sammy Hagar’s resturants. The food was absolutely amazing! That was the best taco I have ever had. My husband and grandson’s burgers were amazing as well. The establishment was beautiful. The service was top notch and so the employees were so friendly and fun. We will definitely be back.

Our bartender (Chris) was the best! Very knowledgeable about the menu, mixed awesome drinks and made us feel very welcome. The tacos were scrumptious (birria and chicken). Such a fun vibe!
