I have been wanting to dine at the Cabin Club in Westlake for awhile now. We have heard so many great things about it. I am so glad I did. It’s a small, quaint cabin. Even though it was small I was surprised to see so much seating but it wasn’t overcrowded seating either. Our server, Tiffany M. Was very attentive, kind, and made our experience that much better. I had the their famous Steak Christopher and my husband had the Center Cut Filet Oscar Style. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The best steak either of us have had in years. We had crème brûlée and they brought out a surprise dessert for us since we were celebrating. If you are in Westlake and looking for a unique dining experience I highly recommend Cabin club.

A classic restaurant located on the west side of Cleveland. Here you will be treated like guests and served with class. For prices that are nowadays very reasonable (as prices everywhere have gone up), you can get a great meal with a drink for less than $30. Service, atmosphere, and food were great.

It’s rare to come across such a gem of a place. Everyone who works there was so attentive to every aspect of dining from the time we walked in to the time we left. Food was excellent as was the drink/wine list. Highly recommend this place over other nicer steak places in the area. Even at the top notch capital grill type places it’s hard to find service so good. Cabin Club will always be a stop for me when I’m in the area.

The service was excellent. The food was quite good. (Not the best steak I’ve had, but far from the worst).

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, I did, however, feel the waitress could’ve done a better job in the friendliness aspect of her service. My wife and I felt rushed. The waiter who was waiting other tables was very friendly and out going, did a much better job explaining the menu and options as well as making his guest feel welcomed.

I highly recommend a reservation! My coworker and I from out of town found this place and sure were glad we did. We ended up eating at the bar but the staff was outgoing and were a great compliment to the heavenly meals we had. My only regret is I don’t live anywhere nearby.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! Awesome steaks! Wonderful service in a cozy atmosphere! I made the mistake of getting chicken piccata instead of steak. Unfortunately it was not what I expected at all. The french onion soup is fabulous! The wait staff is always wonderful and they have a great selection of specialty drinks with a large variety of wine selections. We will definitely go back!

The cabin is unquiet, cozy and smaller then what it appears from the outside. Here is the break down of my overall experience. The staff were cordial. For the beverage the rosary rhubarb mule was a different take on mule. I wish they had more option for wines per glass. For the food portion, I order the lobster bisque which to be honest was really salty and the lobster was non-existing minus what you see in the photo. I couldn’t finish it due to level of saltiness. I have eaten my fair share lobster bisque and this one has to be at the bottom of my list. For my main course, I order the center filet mignon with potato fingers. The potatoes taste like they haven’t been washed and were mostly burnt as seen in the photo below. However the filet was cooked to my liking medium rare, I wish it had a bit more seasoning. Overall the cabin is a unique place.

Food is usually very good but this last time it wasn’t quite as good as usual. Must have just been an off day because normally it is amazing! The different mashed potatoes were very good but the steak wasn’t as high of quality as the past but it was still good. The lobster bisque (which is normal top notch) was off this night. The chocolate mousse for dessert was out of this world though. Atmosphere is cozy but crowded. We will definitely be back in the future to hopefully have a better experience like usually

The cabin club is a very clean conveniently located, local steakhouse we consider a gem! We vist it often when my parents come to town from Virginia. They have just as good of a steak as you can get in the south! They start you off instantly with water, fresh bread that is so soft and delicious with butter then take your drinks. They always quickly get your orders going and the food is flowing before you can think. The lobster bisque is so smooth, and delicious. The salads are well prepared, the house dressing is a great choice. The cocktail shrimp are huge, and served perfectly. The expresso rubbed strip is a unique, and way better than I even anticipated. We asked for our serloins medium, and they were closer to done unfortunately but it is tough to prepare the cuts they had(shaped like a ball). At least we know next time to ask for a much lower temperature, although the strip came out a perfect rare! The fish my stepfather got was “perfectly blackened” and that comes from a Virginia Eastern Shore native! I forget what fish it was as it was a special tonight. The atmosphere is very nice wood/rustic feel, a bit loud and close quarters. I was bumped a few times and constantly felt the urge to lean forward as people try to pass, the chairs(not booth) are very uncomfortable and leave you numb before the bread comes out, but the service, and food make up for it! They are very highly priced, but you do receive ample portions for the most part. The hostess was very friendly along with our waitress who was very attentive, the manager also stopped by to thank us for dining and ensure quality. Overall we enjoyed our visit at the Cabin Club, and highly recommend checking them out at least once!
