I came for the barbecue but stayed for the chicken and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were definitely my favorite part of the meal and the chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry in any shape or form or overly greasy. I will definitely be coming back. Also, you can’t go wrong with the homemade barbecue sauce. And the prices are extremely reasonable.

Super busy line, packed parking lot, led me to believe this is going to be the go to place for BBQ. When I arrived I did not see or smell smoke rolling out of smoker, which kinda had me worried. I had placed an order online, it was ready before my assigned time. I quickly dove into my plate, of smoked sausage, 4 ribs, fries and beans. The food was very mediocre. The ribs didn’t have much of a dry rub in them, nor a solid smoke ring, but they did have smoke flavor. The sausage was juicy, the fries were a bit over seasoned, and the beans were basic out of the can beans, that could or might have been kicked up a notch. It’s not the best in Texas…as there is a bunch of competition, but it’s ok.

This is one of those hidden gems of amazing steaks, burgers and comfort food with plenty of room to hang out and visit with your friends and family! My favorites are the ribeye, hamburger steak and banana pudding. Looks like I will have to go back and get a picture of my plate. I was so excited when it showed up, I totally forgot about the review!

The food was excellent. I had a sandwich with pulled pork, sliced beef, pickles, and their spicy sauce. with mashed potatoes and baked beans on the side, my sister got a half rack of ribs, and they were really tender and tasty without BBQ.

I don’t come here for the BBQ. I come for the chicken fried steak and vegetables. The squash and zucchini are fantastic. The staff is great, the food is great. I only wish they were open longer hours, but if you see the lines to get in you understand. I respect a business keeping family friendly hours for their staff.
