Byrd’s Hot Chicken is a fast casual restaurant group based in Orange County, CA, serving some of the best Nashville hot chicken! Our chickens are raised on family farms, raised with care, no antibiotics or animal byproducts, and are 100% vegetable fed.
We currently have two locations in California, with two more opening in the midwest. We are humbled to say we have served over 500k meals so far, in one the busiest intersections in California. Being right across the street from Disneyland, once our guests visit the happiest place on earth, they come to dine at the tastiest place on earth.

Byrd’s hot chicken is so good! Ordered 3 tenders, 2 medium and 1 hot. The tenders were really good size and the chicken was tender and juicy. The breading was light and had a really good flavor. The medium level had minor heat but the hot definitely jumped up but wasn’t unbearable. The 24k sauce was a nice compliment to the tenders. Overall the tenders were great and I look forward to returning.

I love this place. This time I got the Byrd bomb which is the chicken, fixings, and fries. It was very filling. For the price the portion size was good. I will probably be able to eat out of this 3 times. The 24k sauce is also good by itself to dip in the fries. If you are sensitive to spicy foods air on the side of the more mild levels.

Truly a 5 star place. Customer service by Parth S was beyond helpful. I’m a picky eater so he asked questions to clarify what I wanted on my food, therefore saving me the trouble of having to go back up and saving the restaurant money by not throwing food away.

The staff was welcoming and helpful at answering any menu questions. We tried the #1 sandwich combo and the #2 tender combo, both mild spice. We aren’t the biggest heat enthusiasts so the mild was hot enough for us! The chicken was tender and crispy, the fries were cooked well with a nice seasoning and the potato salad tasted fresh. Their 24K dipping sauce was nice with the fries but they also offered free ketchup packets and cups of ranch for a small extra fee. The portions were large and worth the money. I appreciate the different spice options they offer for those who like more plain seasoning and those who love the heat. We will be back in the future and look forward to trying one of their shakes another time!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel like I have to say something. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a 1/2 lb of wings. The sandwich came up first and then we waited 20 minutes for the wings. When we arrived home to eat the wings, we found out that the third wing we bit into was raw! Definitely not going back, and we really hope we don’t get sick.

Finally visited this birdhouse. Food was delicious. Very good quality and size chicken for all of us. Spiceyness/hot levels are definitely on the hot side. I really liked their Cole slaw. Only reason I am giving this place 4 stars vs 5 is because our order (to go) took a bit longer than usual and because we upgraded to cheese fries and when we got home we realized we only got regular fries for one of our orders. I am confident our next visit this team will deliver a 5 star experience.

Great hot chicken. This is NOT Nashville style and they do not claim to be. The breading is more like traditional style fried chicken, but extra crispy. These ARE delicious, juicy chicken tenders, with great seasoning flavor.
