We sat for 1.5 hours waiting for breakfast. Quite a few tables were served before us. Including the table right next to us that came in 45 min after us, which our server could leave or stop talking to. It was a friend she needed to catch up on. They ordered omelets as we did but got theirs in 15 minutes. We left hungry and unhappy. I understand since Covid that wait times are longer and more help is needed than can be received, but this was way beyond that grace period. We waited and waited while we listen to the server stand at the table with her customer friend and talked about her father dying and what her and her husband did over the weekend. We’re new to this town and wanted to try a locally owned place and unfortunately our family will not be back.

An unexpected gem! I stopped at By The Way Café on a spontaneous breakfast venture with my partner recently, my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised by such a lovely time! The pancakes, as seen in some of the other reviews, are absolutely massive (and tasty!) Their french onion soup was great too! Best of all, the employees were very kind, welcoming, and created a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy our breakfast. We look forwards to our next visit!

Food was awesome and it is so much food for the price. They have country fried steak IN an omelet(called “The Ohio”). It was a never ending pile of deliciousness. Staff was very friendly. I came in after breakfast rush and the restaurant was still very clean. I highly recommend!

This place is great, everything was made from scratch and the portion size are at least 2-3 meals.

Food is made fresh so takes a while. Place is usually packed and have to wait for a table. Food it good and cheap. Ate breakfast with about 10 of us total and don’t think it was much over $100. Aren’t many places left where you can do that.

I just left there Wednesday at 10am.The lady working as a server is terrible. As a sat there waiting on her to ask if I wanted coffee she spoke to the gentleman next to me like no one was in the restaurant I had to hear a sad story about his life.meanwhile I just want something to eat and go on my way.the food two eggs homefries sausage and toast cost 13 dollars.if you like bad service this is the place to go!!!!

Smalltown diner, which we love them. The food was good and you can definitely taste that it is home-cooked. The place was packed with young and old alike, with barely an open seat in the place. The wait was long, but they have a funny sign that says “I hope you like the company you’re with because it’s going to be a minute.” Or something along those lines.

Horrible…Sat and waited while the server joked with friends. Almost 2 hours later my kids and I left hungry and unhappy. Won’t return. Don’t go there unless your friends with the servers or owner. Coffee sat empty 45 minutes. Ridiculous.
