What a great spot … worth the search. The Carmel Roll wasn’t one of the best — IT WAS THE BEST Carmel Roll I’ve ever had. Just that is worth the visit, but bagel sandwich was very good. Bacon and egg were great — and the scratch everything bagel held up to it. Support them and see them grown…I’d love to try the soup sometime. Thanking my daughter Phoebe for the recommendation.

Maybe it was just a bad night for this catered meal at an event I attended. And I’m not a picky eater but this is probably THE worst meal I’ve ever eaten!

So, good, good price all homemade. German food on Fridays

Great hamburgers, sandwiches, cookies, desserts, a bit expensive but worth the trip..tried the vegatable soup and borscht…loved the borscht and not a fan of the vegetable one but that was just me..not a fan of the bread for sandwiches, but loved the yummy buns..guess i thought the buns were going to be used for all the sandwiches!

As a bakery this place does pretty well…. mostly. As a bakery/eatery this place false short. The reason for this is the inconsistencies in service and quality of product coupled with above average prices. You will hear and read that “EVERYTHING” is scratch/homemade, this is false. This place could also learn a thing or two from the serve safe program and possibly a management course.

Food is always good. Staff is friendly and always up for a quick chat if not busy. My favorites are the cookies and the baked potato soup!

One of my favorite places! If you want great German food, this is the place for you. I’ve also loved every single pastry I’ve eaten here. The bagels are top tier, best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend By the Batch to everyone! You will not be disappointed. The caramel rolls are as big as your face and covered with ooey gooey caramel. The lemon bars are seriously so amazing.

I honestly feel sorry for the people who were too impatient, that rated this place less than 5 stars. They have no idea how quality everything is compared to everywhere else you go nowadays. The breakfast sandwich I had was the best one I ever had in my life. Definitely recommend this spot to go to.

Not impressed. I’ve heard a lot of hype about this place so I thought I’d give them a try. I ordered the lunch bagel sandwich with onion rings. First, the sandwich was very blah no flavor and dry. Onions ring were over cooked, greasy and very salty, tasted like any of the other fast food places that offer onion rings on their menu…not good! Now about the bagel, this was not a bagel. It was more like a sour dough bread or quick rise bread than a bagel. In any case not good or tasty. The bagel sandwiches from Carabou are more delicious and worth your money!

5 meals each brought out painfully slow one at a time. Mine took 50 minutes!! Told her to get a to go container as we had to go. They were out of the special 3 people wanted. Didn’t remember to refund the higher special price after she told us they were out of those ingredients. You should not have been open today as we were told 2 people didn’t show up. You did more damage versus just closing. Watched several people leave without food due to waiting too long. Just sad.
