Wonderful summer evening dinner at Butterfield— the outdoor dining space is beautiful with cute lights and a nice ambiance. Entrees were well proportioned and filled with local produce and meats. Highly recommend!

Just sensational!! Service was perfect, food so delicious and well cooked: lamb was melting in the mouth, the pasta with squash was delicious, the cheese board and butterscotch pudding for dessert was a great finish!! The wine list is interesting and accessible. The dinner too was cosy – very good place – we recommend it 100%

This is high-end restaurant with a menu and prices to match. I had the Cavatelli. It was very good, but it was $38. For that kind of money, I expect it to be the best Cavatelli I’ve ever had with amazing and unique flavors. I can’t say that was the case. It was very good but not ‘spectacular’. There were appetizers ordered for the table which were good, but again, not out of this world. I had vanilla gelato for dessert which was also good, but I’ve had better. We also had wine and cocktails. Of course all of this brought the bill up significantly. Everything consumed was a solid 4 star rating. I just can’t get to 5 stars. The presentation of the food is wonderful, the staff is very nice, the grounds are beautiful, the restaurant is very nice, and the service is excellent, but this is simply not a place that I’d rush back to spend well over $100/person on.

Delicious meal, terrific staff, lovely location. The menu is seasonal and changes daily. The flavors were all wonderful. The venison was sent back for a bit more “fire” and came back a perfect medium rate. Our only negative critique is that the portions were a bit smaller than we anticipated for the price.

Absolutely amazing. Eddie is the best & Dante makes the best espresso martini we ever had. They made our anniversary dinner feel special. Look forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful wine list, menu caters to meat and non meat eaters, for example the roasted acorn beluga lentils entree is devine or try the trout entree mouth watering, don’t leave without trying their butterscotch pudding the best dessert in the house. Our server was the best!

Amazing dining experience!!! We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Hasbrouck House. The Butterfield restaurant did not disappoint – service (our waiter, Dante, was so kind and attentive), food, wine and ambience were all incredible. Their menu changes depending on local ingredients available, and I tried the bucatini carbonara with smoked mushrooms and duck egg – absolutely divine. Hands down the best carbonara I have ever had. Their warm chocolate cake is incredible. Also, their director of food and beverage, Eddie, was so nice and very knowledgeable with food and wine recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again!

Service was horrendous. Started by walking in and having an older man (who worked there) yell at the hostess to not seat us even though we had a reservation for 730. Went for a birthday and the service ruined all celebrations. I was a party of 2 and watched multiple tables of 4 who sat after us receive drinks and food well before me. Waitress did not seem to care about the wait of our food and instead of checking on it she stood right next to me reordering bread plates for 10 mins. Asked the owner to please check on the food and drinks and while he said ok he never came back to check in and or hand us drinks/food. VERY DISAPPOINTED
