I always order fried chicken with white rice with gravy on the side with no problem. Today I went there ordered the same thing… fried chicken with white rice with gravy on the side. I was told and charged extra for the gravy… that doesn’t make sense the same amount of gravy u put on the plate I wanted it on the side. I know times is ruff but make it make sense. Also, the rice was mad mushy I thought I ordered rice and not porridge.

Update: went back and got an fried chicken lunch special. A chopped thigh? Wow chicken is very cheap. A customer should at least receive an leg quarter (leg and thigh) worth of meat. Also they still only have the cheapest sides, which is salad. Customer service hasn’t improved, attitudes still bad; in my opinion.

The food was delicious. It is a typical Jamaican spot. Half of the items on the menu were not available.

The food is “on point,” delicious, fresh, and authentic. If you’re looking for the real deal Jamaican food locally, then you have to stop by and check this place out.

Looove the curry goat , the spice gives the right kick to it, well seasoned. Also the fried chicken is another meat that I tried, taste better than KFC in my opinion

A first impression says a lot needless to say if I could give them zero stars I definitely would. My son had wanted to try it since it was something close by and we walked in about 7:45 pm and which they close at 8pm which is why I can understand why she was rushing and asking, but very rude not very inviting seemed dead and like it was out of buisness. I wasn’t going to leave a review just for the fact that I could see it was about to close but Ms. Thang at the register was very rude which I could see why they have No buisness and this is why people will wait in long lines at Dutch Pot or Golden Crust, I get great customer service in those places where I don’t feel welcome I will Never spend my money. Had dinner twice at Butterflakes Restaurant location in Tamarac with a friend visiting the area and I am pleased to say Harry and staff exceeded my expectations in all ways. The ambiance and cleanliness of this place was a treat for someone who does not eat out often. I was very impressed with the service, taste, price and quality of the caribbean meals. We stayed there for hours. I look forward to my next visit when next in the area. Highly recommend.

As I am reading through the reviews online, I can honestly say that I am shocked, because I have shopped here (only on the outside) on several occasions and have referred a lot of friends and family. While they have been on the inside, I have never been and now a good amount of them (23) to be exact have indicated to me that they will no longer support this business and I feel very bad because I am the one who referred them. Including my cousin who drove 3 hours just to come and try out the food and the business establishment, but instead of obtaining food from the truck outside they went inside with their family. While the food is good, they do not mind paying the price for the food, their reason for discontinuing support of this business is because of the poor customer service approach and lack of customer centricity.
