The lady that waited on us was very nice, she gets a 5 for service. But sadly the food was very bland, and only gets 1 star. My husband and I got the chicken nachos and a beef and bean burrito to split, and neither one of us were impressed. Very small portion sizes for the price. And no flavor in either the beef or the chicken.

Butch’s Beach Burritos is a great little local restaurant along the boardwalk and near the State Park/Beach. This is seasonal so closed during the winter (they have one other location open year round in Spring Lake). Family owned and run by the owners. Good selection of tacos, burritos, specialty hot dogs, etc. My kids love it as well.

This was the worst food I have had in years. Everyone in our group was unhappy with what we received. We were starving but couldn’t finish our food. The bean dip literally just tasted like refried beans out of a can mixed with water. The guy at the counter wasn’t super pleasant so we were all uncomfortable asking for a refund. We got the bean and beef burrito, the beef supreme burrito, the chiwawa dogs, and the chicken nachos. All of which were terrible. Had no seasoning, barely salted, and the tortillas were not even warmed up. This is the most Americanized hispanic food I have ever eaten. My white dad has done better with no culinary experience. Save your money and go to another local joint like the Paisley Pig instead.

My family and I enjoy eating at Butch’s Beach Burritos. Good food, friendly customer service, reasonable prices, and right by the water in Grand Haven. You can’t really go wrong here. I don’t think we’ve ever tried something that we didn’t like. Definitely recommend!

Probably the most pathetic $9 beef and bean burrito I’ve ever had. The tiny thing consisted of 90% lettuce, it was supposed to be “2 alarm” however, I didn’t taste any salsa or hot sauce whatsoever. It’s clear this place survives solely on location.

Isn’t bad at all, but also won’t knock your socks off. The food is clean and well packaged, ingredients are clean and simple. I had 4 different tacos and sadly, there just wasn’t much flavor. All tacos come with basics: lettuce, tomato, cheese, a splash of their house brand salsa and the main meat or vegetable. Mine tasted pre-made. Chicken was pretty dry and room temp (not warm) and the beef/beef and bean was the same way. It was affordable. Got 4 tacos, a chicken burrito, and 3 paquitos for around $20. If you’re dead set on authentic Mexican and gourmet tacos, burritos, etc. then do some light homework and research. This is more along the lines of “I’m hungry, it’s convenient, and it’s simple.” All condiments/extras are priced at .80 cents per item. I.e.- .80 for sour cream per taco. If you’re going to spend $4-$8+ per taco with all the fixings, may want to consider somewhere else. If you’re hungry, want something relatively quick and simple, check it out. It’ll scratch the itch enough if you take it as it comes, or just need something to eat to hold you over.

Location, location, location. Perfect spot for some great fast food. I had the Chicken Supreme. It was good, fresh, not to spicy, peppers and olives were noticeably good. My friend had the Chiwawa Chili Dog. Ok, I had a small bite of it. Good dog, lots of cheese, and the ben was just baked fresh. Friendly service and reasonable prices. I’d go back.

Not a fan of the sweet salsa. Food was good though a little pricey.
