This place is soo good. One of the best Mexican places in La mesa area. Only issue is, I’ve never had issues with their service until recently. There’s a new female worker that works night shifts & she is absolutely rude, very unprofessional. It’s always the same when she’s there. They need to work on who they hire. Everyone else is always polite though, very kind I don’t ever have issues with other workers.

Went to order a Buenos dias de Carne Asada for breakfast. Left with a Carne asada burrito. Please double check with your customers for order accuracy. Also the meat and burrito was colder than room temperature.

I rolled through the drive thru for a chimichanga…surprised when I got it (it looked imax sized) tasty but seemed empty within. So I got a birria taco, surprised it was almost $4 for 1… and it really wasn’t good. The attendant was friendly though (so I didn’t feel empty within…only remained a hungry man)

The worst (carne asada) quesadilla I’ve ever had…from anywhere. Not only were they burnt, there’s no cheese! Hubby said his carne asada burrito was fine so I’m giving 3 stars. But this makes two times in a row that I’m disappointed with Santana’s (also the worse breakfast burrito ever). There won’t be a third opportunity.
