the absolute worst mexican restaurant ive ever ordered from, i spent 60$ and they gave me the wrong tacos, the chimichanga is salty and dry. and the queso is so hard my chips broke in it. never ordering again. and i cant even get a refund.

Good & Service were good, but definitely overpriced. Got charged $13.99 for one single margarita and it was a small. They also charge for extra lime & every little small thing. There’s plenty of Mexican restaurants that are better quality and quantity for your dollar in New Orleans. Won’t be back. $68 for lunch is absolutely ridiculous. Rather Velvet Cactus.

I stopped in with a friend for lunch while we waited on other business nearby. A chance pick turned out to be a great find. This was the best Mexican lunch I have had in 30 years in the New Orleans area. All of the food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and came out quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for reasonably priced great Mexican food. Finally, the service was quick and extremely friendly.

The food was delicious, but the service was awful! My Husband and I ate there for the first time and we asked did they do the military discount and the girl who actually was a waitress said that my husband had to be in uniform to receive the discount which was ridiculous! We have never went anywhere and he had to be in uniform any Restaurant we have eaten at only ask him to show his military ID so then we ordered dip, but the guy who served our table never brought us any chips to eat with it he also said oh you wanna more chips with the chips he first brought us with the salsa which the restaurant give you when you sit down as complimentary on the restaurant. I sent the dip back because we never touched it and they had thee audacity to charge us for it and we had to explain that we never even touched the dip. So to whom ever the waitress was let her know she messed up the new guy tip!!! What a way to mess out on a good tip ♀️

Went to this place after a parade and was hungry. I give it a 10/10 because of how great the food was and how flavorfull. The only thing that my mom and I didn’t like was the Shredded Chicken, to dry. It gave me cotton mouth. But besides that everything was delicious . From the Complementary Salsa to the desert. 100/10 Recommended

Okay I’m a creature of habit … I love enchiladas. Lawd those beef and cheese enchiladas were so good. But wait … you need to run for this … the rice. Full disclosure, I generally don’t ever eat the side of rice because at every stop the rice is dry. NOT HERE. I made Chef stop everything he was doing so that I could give him this compliment. I’m 59 years old and this is the best Mexican restaurant rice I’ve ever had. It was so well seasoned and moist.

I really wanted this to be one of my fav places but they take advantage of people when you get the check. I have been there over ten times. half the time your check doesnt even show what you ordered. Each time im like why is my bill $60 for a Childs burrito and two tacos plates with three tacos and cheese. Burrito is $8, tacos $13 each plate. Every time I ask to see the bill they back track, oh they added things oh they put something bigger than you ordered. They take advantage of folks for no reason. One time I went there it was perfect, very tasty, but then every other time its very watered down Mex food, im like where did the flavor go? I really cant stand to pay $60 for tank food and for people who wanna play me and my family.
