We stumble upon Burrito Shak during our trek to Surf City. The kiddos ordered quesadilla and burrito from the kids menu. The adults had the shaka and loaded nachos. Everything came out fresh and tasty. Highly recommended!

The B-Shak salad is my go-to!!! So filling and healthy. The romaine is always crisp and fresh. Because life is all about balance, I usually get 4oz of Queso too. It’s delectable as well!

The Food Is good here. So my only issue is they wear gloves putting stuff in. but people might have allergies. Or people might not eat beef or steak or pork for that matter. So the same glove is used to prepare your meal from the beginning to end with their hands. I wish they can one day use separate spoons to do like Chipotle does. No issues other than that.

Food was delicious and served quickly as usual! Although this is the first time I’ve felt like my order was a burden. All the staff were courteous and efficient, except the one male who was taking orders. While he was efficient, once I stated my order the look he gave me made me think he was going to make a joke. I asked what the look was for, expecting a smile or laugh with a joking remark, only to realize it was an annoyed look and apparently he didn’t like my order. He had to tell another employee to get the fries, told me they would be out when it’s done, and proceeded to take another order. My husband’s order, which he almost decided not to order because of the interaction I just had. It was surprisingly not very busy at that moment, and I don’t know what he had to do other than take the order, so it was surprising to get such a negative reaction. As someone who lives and works locally as well, I understand the craziness and stress this time of year, specially in this type of establishment, but it was obviously uncalled for and bothered me enough to write a review because of it. Customer service is always important.

Bahh!!!! This place is the BOMB!!! Do yourself a favor and eat here at least once! I’m a vegetarian and I truly LOVE the tofu. They also have a Monday potato night which is also sweet. We will be back, this place never disappoints.

To he honest price are too high for the amount of food given compare to other places with the same concept that are cheaper. If you go add double meat and double other items to make it a satisfying good portion. Be aware the end cost will be equivalent to go to a seat down restaurant after all is said and done.

Ate here on a recommendation from a local and it was great take-out option for lunch after the brach. The pork quesadilla was grilled properly, the paradise tacos with pork came with a tasty slaw and pineapple relish, and even the chips were worth eating.

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago when we were in the Topsail Beach area! Very similar to Chipotle in design/operation but they have special menu items that make them different from the former, and you can customize the toppings you want on your items. I ordered the TI burrito and it was absolutely delicious! I love that our entree came with chips already and I didn’t have to pay extra for them. Also they have a salsa bar complete with all different types of salsa – my favorites were the peach salsa and their mild salsa! If you’re in the area and looking for a delicious and fresh Mexican place to try, don’t pass this up!
