This used to be our go to place for their great food. However, lately they do not answer the phone to take orders which is a problem. Since I could not reach them to place an order tonight, I drove there and arrived at 9:20 (40 min before their 10 pm closing time) and was told they were already closed and not taking new orders. I let them know no one has been answering the phone lately and the person at the counter only replied ” I am sorry about that but we are closed”. FYI Burrito Express…you lost some great customers to a competitor in Fox Lake.

My favorite Fox Lake Mexican takeout place! Occasionally I dine in. Always a good meal, reasonably priced, clean restaurant, friendly people! My latest favorites are the Steak Taco Salad and fish tacos. Also love shrimp tacos and steak quesadillas!

I ordered for my first time(delivery w Uber eats) and I can honestly say I was impressed. Portions were great the packaging was good. The taco dinner plate was delish! We will be ordering again!

My compliments to chef Mike. I ordered two burrito dinners cheese quesadillas side of beans and was done in less than 2 minutes 40 bucks I could microwave my own food at home what a joke
