I had the chance to cross Burmese Bites off my bucket list, and it was a satisfying experience. Located in the Queens Mall food court, the Nan Gyi Toke (Burmese Udon Noodles salad with chicken) truly impressed me with its authentic flavors. The Shan noodles salad, however, didn’t quite align with my taste preferences. They cooked with Halal meat. Nevertheless, I’m excited to return and explore more dishes from their menu. Next on my list is the Keema paratha. This spot definitely has potential, and I can’t wait to discover more from their menu.

Walking into the food court, I didn’t expect for any restaurant to be serving at the level of quality that Burmese Bites does. The low prices, short wait, fresh ingredients, and friendly owners make this place absolutely fantastic. The menu is streamlined and simple, and offers all kinds of great Burmese foods. I ordered the Ohno Kaukswe (Burmese Coconut Ramen/အုန်းနို့ခေါက်ဆွဲ) and was extremely happy with my choice. The cilantro and onion that garnished the broth and noodles were very fresh, and the coconut-based broth was so comforting. Such a great dish to have on a cold day. My friend got the Keema Palata—it was crispy and very well seasoned. The chicken curry roti was great as well, but above all, I would recommend the Ohno Kaukswe. Absolutely give this place a try. There’s a reason they’re so highly rated!!

A hidden gem in my opinion. Not a lot of people know about Burmese cuisine which is heavily influenced by Chinese & Indian. Try Coconut chicken noodle soup, dum pot (Burmese chicken biryani), or tea salad. And Yes, I know the picture I uploaded in the review is an empty bowl because it was quite good & I didn’t even remember to take a photo until I finished eating it.

One of New York’s best food places acting low key in the Queens center food court. Truly exceptional food, with more flavor than any Asian restaurant I have been to in NYC, with very good rates and portions. The Burmese sweet tea was so amazing that we got two of each. Very strongly recommend.

The food here was truly so good it brought tears to my eyes. I took a half day off of work just to get lunch here. They used to do delivery which was incredible and I look forward to being able to order from them again when they have the capacity! In the meantime, the hour long trip from downtown Brooklyn is more than worth it to have some bites™️again. Thank you Burmese Bites!!!

Absolutely loved the food here. The kaukswe thoke (Burmese udon noodle salad) and ohno kaukswe (coconut chicken noodle soup) were phenomenal. The food was fresh and delicious and service was warm, friendly and honest. The price was very affordable too. Highly recommend this restaurant!

South East Asian represent right here inside the Queens Center Mall’s food court! So many unique halal Burmese dishes to try! The chicken palata beats any roti canai served in the neighborhood. The tea leaf salad was super crunchy and their Burmese shaved ice was a sweet treat! Don’t forget to check their booth at Queens Night Market in Corona.

A couple co-workers of mine and I ate here for an early dinner. The customer service, halal food and drink options, and prices are great.
