Casual spot for pretty good beer and food. We had classic smash burgers and chili cheese fries. Everything was tasty. Place was clean and staff were friendly. I loved how bright the restaurant was. Overall good experience.

Really wanted to love this place, but we didn’t even like it:/ 2 stars were because they did take the soggy “dirty” fries off. Yes, they were tasty but I was hungry. It wasn’t cheese at the bottom, it was soup. The garnish was even turned.

A laid-back atmosphere with a tasty drink menu, and slamming burgers. I ordered a bun-less burger, and they didn’t disappoint. Mushrooms, onions, lettuce and bacon. So delicious!

Space is pretty good. Decent selections of beers. Service was good. The food price can add up quickly depending on what you get. Rather large bill for 4 beers and some mini burgers.

Decent burger and beer spot in Lawrenceville. Lack of fulfilment was the first thing that came to mind with the burgers too (see other reviews). It was gone in 3 bites. Tasted great but left some to be desired. Unique, tasteful beer options.

The food is tasty but really over priced. The burgers are thin and although the fries are good, portions are pretty small. Also the location we visited was super understaffed. There was only one waitress and she had a ton of tables and was working the bar too.

Pretty sure I just had the best burger and fries I’ve ever had in Pittsburgh. Went with the Morningside option.. which included American cheese, fried egg and bacon and Mayo. This burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The egg was perfectly cooked. Crispy but soft bacon which is exactly how I roll. The fries were awesome. Thin and crispy.. I got a side of ranch with mine and they make it homemade. The ranch was amazing. The coke was in a glass bottle which was also a plus. Staff was super friendly. Shout out to the back! The cooks and the dishwasher. Super cool dudes. The hostess was friendly and polite and so was our waitress. We came on a Sunday around 530 and it wasn’t very crowded at all. My friend tried the polish hill burger with a pierogie on top and she had cheese fries. She loved it. The cheese for the fries was delicious also. Highly recommend if you’re in to smash burgers!

Definitely a fan of #theMix mushroom and beef burger, as well as the light lager. Both pretty light, and I’m wondering what to have next in the area…

My wife and I both came to the conclusion that the Oakland Burger was one on the best burgers we’ve ever had. The fries are top tier and the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Also, they offer a Gluten Free bun. This place is a must go.

Great burgers! I have really enjoyed the food each time I go. My favorite is the Fox Chapel – burger with the fries in the photo. And the one with the pierogies is the Shadyside.
