Inside the Buffalo, NY airport there are not many choices for breakfast. Tim Horton’s had a line of 20+ people waiting to order, BurgerFi had no one waiting. Stupidly, we decided to give BurgerFi a try. Not smart. My wife and I each ordered a different breakfast sandwich and neither should be deemed appetizing. Mine was almost inedible and had onions instead of cheese. The three newly escaped cons who were running the place did a very bad job. Advice— wait in line at Tim Horton’s!

I generally have low expectations for any quick service restaurant at an airport. They never seem to hit the spot, but burgerfi went to an all time low. Despite having 5 employees in the kitchen the service was so slow. And by service I mean preparing food, because your only option is to order from a kiosk. After waiting for 20 minutes for chicken fingers and fries I was hopeful I was getting my food. But somehow they managed to make everyone who ordered before and after me and skipped mine. When questioned the guy said, I just got back from break, I don’t know. Meanwhile he was in the kitchen the entire time. No acknowledgment of the mistake and no apology. Just attitude. I had to fight with the manager to get a refund – she said we are making it now it will be 10 minutes. Yeah my flight was boarding in 15 minutes. No thanks. Avoid this place

It was the worst experience, we ordered 4 chicken sandwiches. Only one order of chicken sandwich were correct, rest of the 3 orders were incorrect. They just gave us burgers with BBQ sauce and a bun. The onion ring was the worst and some were uncooked. I will never go to Burgerfi again and won’t recommend anyone to try at the airport.

Read the reviews. I should have. Long wait, despite not many people waiting on orders. Didn’t get everything we ordered and got an attitude when we asked for the items. Never received the water that was ordered. Gave up on that. Hamburger was way overcooked and burnt. Fries were cold. I could go on and on. They really don’t care. No one at this airport seems to care.

Well adding another poor review to the many others. 42 min to get a conflicted burger. One employee making burgers, then Bocce pizza employee came over from next door. On top of it paid for extra mushrooms and did not get that on my orders. Won’t eat at Burgerfi anymore based on this experience. Five guys from now on….

If you’re in the Buffalo airport early and everyone is lined up at Tim Hortons (and you like breakfast sandwiches), Burgerfi has an incredibly tasty one. Kind of like old school THs.

The breakfast sandwhich slaps (sausage/egg/cheese/hash brown/garlic aoli). Better than maybacks. There was no line either compared to timmys and their microwaved sandwhiches. Going to get one of these bad boys anytime I have a morning flight.

15 people in line at Tim Hortons and nobody in line at BurgerFi so I thought I’d try BurgerFi. Stood at the counter waiting for someone to help me while three employees stood at the grille and talked. They saw me, but never acknowledged me and nobody came to help.
