Good burgers, but a bit pricey. However so is everything else in quaint downtown St. Charles. The self-serv beer dispensing machine is worth trying out. One of the employees explained how it works. They tie an RFID card to your credit card. You put the card on a reader, then select the beer you want from some small LED displays, and you are charged by the measured pour. Nearest similar machine is in Chicago. The software came from a vendor. Very interesting and unique.

Really enjoyed the food here! Our server was great. We used the free pour option which we enjoyed. We’ll be back this wknd for the live music & drink specials with some friends to try that out. The bath rm coulld use a little attention but all in all a really great place for our 1st experience!

We had heard about this place when they were operating out of another restaurant and finally got a chance to try it out. Service was mediocre, but they only had 1 person working the front end. We were never offered refills or asked if we wanted something else to drink, but she did get our orders right. We tried the appetizer sampler, a Mushroom Swiss burger, a Dug Out burger, and the Underground Trainwreck burger. For the appetizer sampler, you get to pick any 4 appetizers and we chose fried pickles, pepperjack cheese balls, jalapeño Mac and cheese bites, and southwest chicken bites. They came with ranch and a southwest sauce and each was a good portion for a sampler. The fried pickles were a sweet pickle, which isn’t our favorite, but everything else was really good. Unfortunately, the appetizer were the best part of the meal and the burgers were lacking. We actually tried to order 2 chicken sandwiches with a burger and were told they were out of chicken. The burgers are not what I would consider “smash’d” but just a regular burger that needed more seasoning. If we came back it would probably just be for apps and drinks, but would not recommend the burgers.

Absolutely amazing burger. I got the build your own double smash burger with fries. The burger came out hot and fresh, tasted well seasoned but not too much, had a great brioche bun, and was nice and juicy. The fries were also fantastic. They are very similar in size and style to McDonalds fries. The fries were hot, crispy, and well seasoned also. Fantastic meal and very reasonable prices. Will return to satisfy any burger/fries cravings.

Weekend lunch. Place was slammed when we got there, they had “murder on main” going on. Seemed like a fun group, murder mystery group, dressed like the 1920s or there abouts.

Our first visit to this restaurant! Waitress was not in the right job. She was hard to find most of the time. When we did talk w her, she seemed in a hurry to brush us off.

Amazing food. Great staff. The 2 girls working the indoor tables were stretched to accommodate all the tables and they were constantly moving and helping. Great to see that kind of dedication for service. Our waitress even apologized as we were getting ready to leave for not being able to check on us more often.

This recent addition to old Main Street fits right in with good food and service. Small but solid menu. Lots of big screens, so I’m guessing it’s crazy during ballgames.

12:30 pm on a Sunday and they got slammed when a bunch of teenage soccer kids and chaperones walked in. We were still treated with smiles and some laughs as the two waitresses tried to cover everyone. Food arrived quickly and was good. Hamburger was hand-patty. Chicken wings were good. Liked the fire honey sauce.
