A very nice fast food place and yes the lobby was open and staff looked full staff and very excellent service. The whole restaurant clean. There were lots of customers too it was a busy noon time. I ordered a large coffee with my meal the woman helping me at counter said she would get me a fresh coffee and did just that so I didn’t have to pour my own at drink station. . We got our food to go and ate at table by the public beach at the lake. The food stayed hot and everything we ordered was there. I thought the new paper large coffee cups flimsy especially for ride in car so be very careful. I miss the big styrofoam large coffee cups they used to have at BK. My onion rings tasty and I got zesty sauce which was spicy hot which I like. My original chicken sandwich delicious and lots of fresh lettuce with just right amount mayo not stingy on mayo. It was a nice place to stop to eat by the lake. I haven’t been to BK for awhile and this BK in Detroit Lakes definitely a good one.

Order on the app, when we got there the drive thru line was long so I just ran in to get our order. The side door was locked with no note on there as to why. Went around to go in and when I got in a male worker that had a bad attitude with me and everyone else that came in there. Kept saying the lobby is closed and that’s why the door is locked. Getting frustrated and mad at everyone the walked thru the door. If I didn’t already of paid I would of went somewhere else because of him alone.

After a long wait to order our food, and another long wait to receive our food, I started to wonder why the price was so high. After looking over the receipt, I realized that I was charged for items I didn’t even order. When I finaly got to talk to the manager about it, her reply was “If you want a refund, it will be at least 10 more minutes before I can do that for you.” In the end, our quick and cheap meal ended up being a long and expensive meal.

Sat in line at the drive-thru window for 20 minutes still didn’t have my food in hand only reason I kept waiting as I had already paid for my freaking food once I got my food the cup of fries was literally upside down with an empty cup and all the fries floating around in the bag I had ordered cheese on my burger there was no cheese and then they tried to send me away without giving me my chocolate shake/malt whatever they call it…. There is a guy the cleans and walks around the lobby area although he is very very nice when I’m on my lunch and only have 30 mins to eat he wants to talk my ear off and ask me about my work that I’m trying to take a break from lol .. like I said very nice guy but it’s nice to eat in some peace and I NEED my break away from my work without having to be asked never ending questions about it ! I might have to stop eating in and going through the drive thru cause I can’t get left alone to eat in peace . It’s ok to make small talk to your customers and make them feel welcome but for God sakes please have a conversation with him about boundaries!

Overall great food, service and fast. Only issue expense of the “value menu” ordered value ring, received 7 rings, which averaged out to 40 cents per ring.
