I stopped by this morning on my way to work. To get a croissant and it had been sitting on the heater so long the bread was hard as a rock and the sausage and egg was so old I had to throw the whole sandwich away. I usually stop at the one in piney which I will do from now on but I was running late. This store on volunteer parkway desperately needs help.

My wife and I was at the Burger King at 1397 Volunteer Pkwy Bristol TN 37620 on 4/25/2023 at about 8:30 pm. As we walked to the counter to order we saw a guy putting his earbuds in his ear and messing with his phone then without washing his hands or putting gloves on he began putting food together for customers. He once worked the drive through window scratching his rear end returned to prepare food without gloves. They also messed up our order and two other customers order in the thirty minutes that we were there. One customer ask for a plain chicken sandwich, but they put everything on it. He returned it and waited about fifteen minutes before going to check on it. They had forgot all about his chicken sandwich. They were not that busy, there was my wife and myself, the old man with his grandson and another couple in the store and that was all. And they messed up on all three of our orders. I THOUGHT ANYONE PREPARING FOOD WAS SUPPOSED TO WERE GLOVES. I don’t really know but I will call the health department and find out.

Ordered thru Doordash and was told on a Friday night they had no soft drinks and would I like something else. I said a vanilla milkshake and was told I could have water or tea, milkshakes cost more. I would have paid the difference thru the dashers tip or some other way but was given no chose. Btw I was speaking to the dasher and then she spoke to the clerk and the clerk than asked the manager. According to the dasher the manager was very rude. At any rate the food was okay but it seems being a manager has gone to some ah’s tiny little head. I will not buy from that store again. It’s not like there’s any shortage of hamburger joints.

I’m done with this store. I’ve updated my review several times and it just keeps getting worse. This time I could tell they didn’t try or care from how my Whopper Melt was prepared. Bacon and patties were dry and cold, so cold my it couldn’t melt the cheese and they didn’t even try to toast the bread so I insisted on a refund. The manager didn’t seem to happy about my complaint but I got my refund. Check my pics.

There were signs on all the doors & counters that they were not able to accept credit cards & gift cards must be announced before ordering so the order could be placed on the drive thru computer. There were 2 employees visible preparing sandwiches & 2 working the counter register & drive thru as well as taking care of the fries. With the computer issues, the 2 working the front were running around like chickens with heads cut off trying not to duplicate each other’s work or miss an order while the 2 in back were leisurely assembling sandwiches & chatting. Although not new, the Royal crispy chicken sandwich caught my eye. I ordered that & value fries. The fries were hot & crispy & there were plenty. The chicken sandwich was a mess! There was entirely too much sauce!! The lettuce was drowning in it & it had gushed out from between the buns almost all the way around the sandwich making the top bun wet & sticky. I threw away the top bun, wiped away all the extra sauce & tried to salvage some lettuce. The piece of chicken covered less than 1/2 the bottom bun so I could fold the bottom bun over in place of the top bun. For such a disaster, it actually tasted good! It’s not likely I’ll return to this restaurant any time soon. I found it sad that the employees who were so overwhelmed out front were getting it done right while the 2 in the back, virtually relaxing, provided such a poor product.

Rarely have any complaints about this Burger King. The app, however, is constantly giving me issues. It’s easier just to order straight from the menu at sale prices. There frozen cokes are the bomb, especially the Cherry.
