What a cool place! We stumbled upon this and decided to grab a couple burgers. Wife had a cheeseburger and I had their spicy burger (jalapenos, bacon, spicy sauce). The burgers were great! Very nice cook on them. Toppings were heavy.

We just moved here last week. We went in an hour ago to try it. We ordered a buffalo chicken sub, patty melt, hotdog , and kids chicken tenders & fries with each. The worst food I have ever eaten. Sub was topped with cheddar cheese not mixed just on top barely melted slices and the sauce was horrid maybe rotten. Patty melt was over cooked onions were very dark or almost burnt and very old. Hot dog with nasty sauerkraut hot dog very dry just a handful of onions. Best part of the entire meal were the chicken tenders . Spent $39 for a meal that was not eaten. No quality check at this place. Employees on phones like they were not engaged or even cared while working. I did not say anything just threw it away and left.sorry we bothered you when we ordered.

I have drove past this place a few times and never really noticed it. Tonight I was wanting to try somewhere different for dinner and aimlessly driving around ended up here. When I walked in the door I felt at home and was greeted by a friendly staff. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered Corn Dog Nuggets as an appetizer and they were excellent. I ordered the A-1 Burger and I have to say it was one of the best prepared and best tasting burgers I have ever had. My other half got tge BLT Burger and needless to say seeing an empty tray told me it was good. I will definitely return here.

It is far easier for people to take the time to write a terrible review for good service than it is for people to write a good review for terrific service. I moved to Manassas almost a year ago. I stopped in one day to look around and I liked what I saw; an obvious family owned burger joint that was very loudly decorated. It reminds me of a burger place you would stop at on the ocean city boardwalk where I grew up, minus the extreme price. I read a few of the comments on this review talking about their horrible pricing and couldn’t help but finding myself thinking “What? Those prices are so cheap….” and they are. You can walk into five guys and order one adult size meal for almost twenty dollars and at Burger Boys I did that for less than ten. I also noticed a hard working family who are very obviously trying to make ends meet while keeping their business they just took over afloat, give em a break! We live in a world full of multi trillion dollar corporate food industries where they instill and teach that the “customer is always right.” Well let me tell you something, that is not how real life works. I have worked for the big boss corporate places that micro manage and promote you every five years only when and if someone passes and where a drunk (or sober) customer with a five dollar tab can harass you to your breaking point and if you respond (or even if you don’t) and you get a complaint the manager will comp their meal, give them free meal coupons and apologise profusely to them right before writing you up or firing you. I’ve also worked for family owned restaurants where instead of climbing up the corporal ladder by knocking others out of the way and tearing some down, the owners worked their behind off to get where they are AND will not hesitate to throw a customer out and ban them for life for treating their employees like trash. I promise you THOSE are the places you want to give your money too. Now all corporate places aren’t bad, I have worked for a few that are the same way but they are hard to come by. You should all remember that the Burger Boy’s family feeds their children’s mouths with the profit of the store and I bet the owners have never seen and never will see a paycheck. That is true customer service dedication. The food was in very large portions, the restaurant was very well kept, including the restrooms, & the ice cream next door is to die for creamy. If you don’t like real human beings who have real human problems, and real human children and real human bills to pay than this place is not for you. Oh boohoo, he didn’t honor your coupon? Again, this is not some multi trillion dollar company who will comp your whole meal when your coupon doesn’t scan. People and websites print and advertise unathourized coupons daily and the family own places will never budge and take one that they know they did not print and neither would you if you were in their position. My food was ready in 8 minutes after I ordered it, despite the fact that their were two other families of three and four people who had just ordered before me. There was not a signal mistake with my burger and I was not charged for any extra condiments which is rare in a family owned place today so that was awesome. Their soda was freshed and I could tell they regularly check their syrup bags and carb pressure. The temp in the store was perfect and it had a quiet atmosphere despite the loud interior designs (which again, I loved) so they balanced one another out very well. The staff was kind and fast. They did not linger to talk or act like they would sugarcoat their feelings to get my sale which is another reason why I love family owned joints, if you don’t like it then keep it moving. This place was freaking awesome and I will return the moment I can. Thank you to the Burger Boy’s family for your dedication to the food and service industry and keep pushing forward. Your food is delicious and well priced being the cheapest in NoVa, your family is awesome regardless of what the “haters” say! Peace & Much Love!!!!

This place has a large 80s vibe. There is a TV playing baseball games, a few arcade games and pinball machine. What really brings my family back is the burgers and ice cream. They serve Hershey’s ice cream, which is creamy, good, and hand served.

I called in my order and the lady that answered wasn’t really friendly, didn’t tell me how much or how long it would be. However, when I got up there 10 mins later, it was ready. I paid $60 for three burger meals and two kid’s meals. Too much for so-so food… It was ok. I knew I should have checked EVERYTHING before leaving, I checked all but one burger and that was the one that was wrong. I ordered a burger boy 1/2 with cheddar cheese and bacon, but it had mushroom and onions, no bacon. Also, their burgers come on some thick, tough bun that I didn’t like… It would have been nice if they mentioned it on their site. We won’t be going back…

I’ve been here a couple times in the past and it seems like everytime I go the quality of service declines. My first experience was great which was a few years back and I continue to return hoping that one day I’ll recieve that same quality service again, but I thought wrong. My first issue, was that the young lady behind the counter seemed as if she did not want to be there. She had a very bland facial expression which is a turn off for what seems like a family owned business and almost made me not order anything. Second issue, I ordered hot wings and French fries. Very simple meal in my mind, but maybe what I pictured isn’t everyones vision so I’ll respect that for the most part. My hot wings looked like they took a hot sauce bottle and sprinkled some sauce over the top instead of tossing them in sauce. My fries were okay, but the young lady didn’t even ask me if I needed ketchup, but asked the person I was with. Then when I finally did recieve my ketchup in a little to go container there was old ketchup caked to the sidesand tasted as if it had been sitting for quite some time. Mind you it was like that the last couple of visits. Point is I’m really disappointed with the service and quality of my food today, I will not be returning.

New owner food taste different and not in a good way. Old owner used to have real steak on steak and cheese now its like steak umm. Burger change as well if you ask me its the fact the new owner switched to frozen food instead of fresh meat like the previous owner. Disappointed really used to like the Burger and steak and cheese now I’d rather cook my self.

4.5 The name of my boat was The Hungry Gator for a reason! These burgers are generous sized. Remember the pics of burgers on TV but when you get there they are biscuit sized? NOT THESE BURGERS! Fries almost like boardwalk. Chili good. Ice cream a tad overpriced. Going next for Breakfast! All food is fresh, not out of a bucket. Definite positive experience: owners are a ma and pa business not a corporate same ol’ same ol’. Please open one on Rt 1, Woodbridge, or close to Pot Mills Mall.
