Don’t let the fact that this restaurant is connected to a hotel scare you away. They have a hotel type buffet, except more choices, but they also have a menu that you can order from. I ordered a skillet type breakfast, and it had lots of fresh peppers and broccoli. I also had to try the pound cake french toast. It had fresh strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.

Ate the 12 ounce ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Steak was great. Had a side salad and treated myself to the ice cream cookie sandwich. It was my waitress’ first day on the job and Miranda was very helpful and friendly. Recommend this restaurant inside the Hilton Double Tree.

I have eaten dinner here frequently, and every meal has been excellent. There is a good variety on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Live jazz on weekends is a big plus too. This is definitely one of the area’s finest restaurants.

The food tasted alright but when we ordered the brussel sprouts crispy as the menu says the kitchen simply added extra balsamic vinegar and that resulted in very soggy brussels. We asked to get mozzarella wedges instead and were met with total attitude. We’ve tried to support this business but it’s been a little too difficult.

An in-hotel restaurant off of Illinois Ave. Double tree by Hilton. It is really inexpensive but you get what you pay for. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they go above and beyond. If you don’t feel like driving off site, this would do. For the non pretentious crowd though. I had the shrimp and grits (would not recommend) and the chicken marsala. The bar is where it’s at!

Atmosphere is great, just isn’t for me (live music sometimes ECT) servers are all great and the foods consistent, just not a lot of variety that appealed to me at the time. Solid place especially when it attracts more than just who’s at the hotel.

Ok so I went here tonight, wasn’t impressed. Now Megan was awesome! But the food? Yeah no. Ordered a rare steak that came out blue rare, literally had the cook and his “manager” come out to tell me it was cooked correctly and that hes been doing this for 41 years smfh. I don’t think so scooter! I could have gone to McDonald’s and got this disappointed honestly. Yes they tried to make another steak, but why? I’m currently trying to eat a bland steak and get out! But much kudos to Megan! Not really the servers job to cover for the cooks!
