The açaí bowl options are pretty classic and tasty.

I had placed a pick up order for the truck and got there early to pick up my food. The girls saw the pick up time on the receipt and rolled their eyes at me and made rude comments. The girl working the register was kind and said my time for pick up wasn’t for another 20 mins but she would have them make it ahead of time. I understand that i may have had to wait, but I do not appreciate the snarky comments and rolling their eyes at me when I arrive early. It doesn’t make much sense to me. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I love their food too much and give way too much business for them to act like that.

Came across their food truck. They had quite a few fresh and healthy options to choose from. The Brotella bowl was my choice for the day. Definitely worth the try

Ordered a smoothie from this food truck earlier today & noticed that the person preparing my smoothie was not wearing gloves & witnessed him touching food items with hands before putting in blender. His back was turned to crowd & was working frantically to fill orders which is admirable- but should be conducted in a safe manner to prevent food contamination. I couldn’t get his attention (since his back was turned) but asked another girl in the truck if he was wearing gloves. She looked & called his name (guy preparing the smoothie) relaying my concern. The guy barely turned towards me dismissively stating, “I’m not touching any food” & turned back around and continued preparing food. Needless to say I walked away w/o my smoothie, nor did I ask for money back. Food service should NEVER compromise food safety & food handlers should ensure at all cost that food is not adulterated. BTW, the other 2 girls (in truck) were wearing gloves. Buyer beware!

I love their bowls. But the schedule is not accurate, ever. Today (5/19) they were not supposed to be in Fuquay, but they were and never made a post about it until they were finished. This seems to happen every time. The schedule they put out on their instragram stories/posts, and the schedule linked to the account, don’t sync up and they change locations last minute.

Scheduled an event with them a month prior and they told me they had me on their schedule. Owner decided to cancel 3 hours before my event start date and didn’t even care he was cancelling. Extremely unprofessional do not hire them for your events.

The “Mango” Drink we received at the Food truck at the Fuquay Varina chamber of commerce parking lot was certainly not mango. But plain Banana and maybe Coconut milk. Not worth what was paid.

It’s good but it’s very expensive and there are several more places that serve these bowls that are open business hours consistently and you don’t have to truck search and they are just as tasty and less expensive. They are overrated when there are so many other places to get the same thing.

Cool, crunchy, fruity. What more do you need? A second helping!

I had positive experiences with Buoy Bowls before as a customer. That is why I went to them with a fundraising opportunity for a philanthropy event I was planning for my graduate program. I got verbal confirmation in November 2021 for the event happening March 2022. A few emails and texts went back and forth with the company between November and I would say January. January I confirmed (again) that they would like to participate. Was told yes. Once I was working to finalize details, end of January into February, I started not hearing back. I followed up with emails and texts with no response. Mid February comes around and I reach out to an individual I know who works there to get the organizer to respond to me, was told they would but never heard a response. I then had to last minute find a different organization to help me with my event. Getting verbal confirmation in November had me assuming all would be well. Very disappointed because I had always loved Buoy Bowls.
