I’ve been coming here since 2021 and it is my favorite place to dine. When first walking in the establishment you’re immediately welcomed with greetings and the aroma the most delightful smells that bring excitement. The best way i can describe the ambiance is an oasis full of love and gratitude. You can’t help but to smile while enjoying anything that you order off the menu, accompanied with good vibe music. Best Ethiopian spot in Philadelphia hands down!

The food will knock the socks out of your feet. Dora wat was simply outstanding. Try their Baclava, too.

This is my fave spot and allows me to go back to my old stomping grounds when I was at Penn. It’s quality food and reminds me of my mom/ aunts cooking. Sedakial and his team are always welcoming and kind!

Excellent cuisine. We ordered the non-alcoholic summer drinks, lentil and beef samosas, and the vegetable combo, which included cabbage, salad, beetroot, and lentil curry. Finishing with a hot beverage—probably tea—was heavenly). Highly advised.

Came here with The Missus (bless ‘er) and The Kid recently, as The Missus (bless ‘er) had a powerful lust for Ethiopian cuisine and Buna Cafe was getting some pretty rave reviews.

Amazing food. Perfect mix of traditional and original dishes. Spicy and delicious. Quick delivery too. Will have to visit in person—the decor looks wonderful.

Food is good. But sometimes it is good to make minor adjustments to make the customer happy, even if it is a little different from what is listed on the menu. Especially since there are a lot of people with different dietary restrictions.

The food is excellent. I got the meat combo, veggies combo, and a beet salad. I am relatively new to Ethiopian food. I had to create a cheat sheet of ingredients of the side dishes with the Ethiopian names. Otherwise, I would be back and forth between entrees and sides on the menu. The gentleman taking my order was very nice and helpful.
