Attaching a picture of the Ken’s ranch that I was told was homemade. We specifically called ahead and asked if the ranch was homemade and we were assured it was. This was the deciding factor in actually ordering from here over another pizza place. We picked it up and asked again if we got the 6 homemade ranch and they assured us they were in the box. The box was taped shut so we did not check until we got back. We opened it to find Ken’s ranch which is by no means homemade. We were also charged $3.00 for these pre-packaged ranch. This is very upsetting and unprofessional to completely lie about the product. And then on top of this the pizza itself was not good and incredibly over priced.

Friendly staff. Pretty warm due to no air conditioning. Clean and good atmosphere. However, I ordered the ravioli with meat sauce. The ravioli was a frozen variety(saw the marks on the back of the ravioli) and was still chewy. How is this not served with bread or a small side salad? We asked for bread and the waitress gladly provided. Husband ordered the lasagna and it appeared to be more ir a casserole instead of a slice of lasagna from a pan. Service was quick. Overall disappointment.

Our family spent some spring break time on Beech Mountain from Michigan and drove past Bullwinkles. We knew we had to try the pizza was very delicious and ate it again on our next morning on the way back home! What a wonderful place and hope to visit again sometime.

The place was closing at 8:30pm. It was about 7:42pm when we (group of 3) walked in. The lady at the counter had an attitude as soon as we walked in. She clearly was not happy to have us. She ended up being our server too. A group of 5 walked in right after us & young man was happy to take care of them. He also was serving another group of 5-6 at the table near us. We are traveling, have never been to this place before & had some questions. She wasn’t able to help with an adult drinks options (not on the menue we were given), just pointed out on the white board on the wall which we were not able to see from our table, the more questions we had, the more negative she became. We felt like we were not welcomed there and ended up leaving before ordering anything. Totally get it, it’s Sunday night, busy day, rough day, she wanted to go home… however, customer service is customer service. You just can’t treat paying customers rude & unprofessional. We happily went to the brick oven pizza and had the best food and amazing customer service there.

I got a pie and shared it with my dad, which was very good! Depending on when you come here service can be a little slow but that’s because sometimes only one server is working. If you come here during the off months keep that in mind, but our server was super lovely and made sure we were taken care of, even with all the other tables.

Stopped by for a pint and a slice. Cozy bar, some of the friendliest people we met on the trip. Pizza was great, crust was good for supporting generous amount of toppings but not too thick. Ordered a small pepperoni, mushroom, and onion. Topped with parmesan cheese. Outstanding.

Pizza and calizones were delicious. The service was great too! It was nice to have a restaurant only ten minutes from the cabin we rented.

Simple suggestion. Stick to the pizza. We went on a Friday night and were the only people there. We were a table of nine, 4 adults and 5 kids. Kids ordered pizza and butter noodles. Both seemed to be hits with the kiddos! My wife and I split a salad and the lasagna. Salad was good! Lasagna was terrible. It was literally a bowl of cheese, a burnt noodle and no meat. I actually tried to mix my sons leftover butter noodles in with the lasagna to make a meal. My buddy got the calzone! It looked incredible, but was stuffed with lots of mozzarella cheese and raw veggies. Seemed like the contents were not cooked. Ultimately, I think if you stick with pizza you will have a decent experience. Otherwise you are more than likely going to be disappointed.

First time and first day at Beech Mountain and we decided to have drinks and pizza while we watched Sunday football……AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We were greeted immediately by Chris (Manager) and Pam (Bartender) with huge smiles and warm welcomes. The drinks were strong the food was excellent and the prices were fair. We will definitely visit again and we plan to bring the entire family! We also made new friends with all who were dining, working and living there. Special shout out to Alex who offered to take us on a private guided trail/tour/fishing trip. Ceasar who was very gracious to give us a tour of the grounds and Reed for educating us on local wildlife. We highly recommend this place for it’s drinks, food and people. The football game was cool too…go TAMPA BAY!
