Took a scenic drive home from Mishawaka to Indy on a Sunday. It can be tough to find places that are open Sundays off the interstate. Stopped in for lunch on a whim. The old drive in pulled us in. Name didn’t hurt the appeal either. Not only did it hit the spot, but it far exceeded expectations. Staff was great.

This place is great and never disappoints! This weekend 10% of their sales are going to Argos schools to help feed the kids that don’t get to eat on the weekends. This will make sure these children get meals to take home for the weekends. Make a trip down there and help out! Oct 1 and 2nd!

This is a root beer drive-in. Poorly organized. Car hops were slow. Food was extremely slow – over 30 minutes. We paid before we got our food – the bill came with the drinks. It would be better if the car side ordering machines were eliminated (they were not used) and there was an overhead menu.

Great place. Small home town business. They actually have car hops to take and deliver your order. I was gonna stop across the street to by a pop for my ride home, then I saw that this was open and stopped for a milk shake. The car hop saw my little dog and waved over the other car hop to look. When she brought my shake she had a cup of ice cream with a little dog biscuit on top. Free of charge. Sat there and chatted with some people there. Friendly small town . Got to love small town Indiana.

Great local food best fried food in Marshall county. They are very filling as well so keep that in mind when visiting. Their burgers are great too. Definitely worth checking out if you need a malt or a 50s drive-in experience!

I tried to support this local business. Waited 5 minutes to just buy my son a bottle of water on our bike ride. I realize the lady was working on 2 orders. But would not even acknowledge me. Walked by me and couldn’t even say, “I will be with you in a minute.” I was very patient, then I realized she could care less to help me. So we left. This was not my first visit. So I’m not trying to be mean. Custom service is real people!

Great idea to reopen the drive-in but they need more hired help. Some things about our experience could’ve been better and I think it was because they were very busy. Try again next season. Edit: came back this year and was very satisfied with their improvement and will be back again when they reopen!

Update: instead of apologizing for her behavior she actually confronted my daughter about the review I wrote. She did so in a very immature manor. My daughter was 15 when she worked for this place she’s going to make mistakes it was her first job. The way her mistakes were handled and discussed with other employees was inappropriate the way she she continues to hold a grudge 2 years later is also inappropriate.
