Everyone should make the trip to this tiny historic corner of California. Huge culinary cocktail list, menu full of smoked options and lovely flavors. Fried chicken is tasty with just the right crunch and succulent white meat. Pork chop tender and enjoyed. Although I don’t prefer the smoky taste my the group did and the meat was cooked to perfection. Best of all was the friendly and helpful waitstaff, especially Jamie who was so patient as she described multiple drinks and entrees with a delightful smile. We dined outside in the garden with a heat lamp. Inside is chock full of history and taxidermy. Just go and enjoy.

Very thing we had was amazing. The grilled avocado dish was my favorite. Cocktails were on point and a nice variety to choose from. The main course for us was the fried chicken which was decent, had a good level of spice which was nice but something about the breading left it holding onto a little too much of the frying oil. Still all the same it was delicious so I’m reaching for critique. Our server was from Oakland and provided friendly service and good explanations to our questions. We ate on the outdoor patio under the redwood tree but the interior of the restaurant was very interesting and if we had more time hanging out at the bar would have been cool. Definitely recommend this place

I liked almost everything I ate. The fried chicken was underwhelming for the price. Parking was dark and unorganized. The wings were amazing. Beer selection also great. The drive there is crazy so if you’re having a drink get a designated driver.

It was always a great time. Always eat great food. Never had bad service. Trusted them with my sons wedding reception, and we were definitely not let down. I’ve been coming here over and over again for the last 5 years.

It was charming. The building itself has been maintained over the years & still has its original crown molding with charm. The food was delicious! The waitstaff was polite & helpful. Hope to enjoy another evening there with friends/ family soon.

Great drinks, yummy garlic cheese bread & the fried chicken was perfectly prepared with a bit of a kick. Celebrated a birthday & enjoyed their desserts too. Lucky enough to catch live music on their back patio.
