The service and ambience were very good. The bread and dip were excellent. The dish I had (caesar chicken salad) had good dressing, fresh lettuce, and good croutons, but the chicken tasted frozen and boiled. The wife’s meatballs and spaghetti were excellent however and I would encourage people to give them a chance, but stick with pasta and avoid the salad.

We love Bugsy’s. Always great food and service. Amazing drink varieties at the bar and consistently good food. We usually go as a large group and call ahead for a table because they can get busy. This visit we had veal picatta, cheese ravioli and calamari appetizer.

Atmosphere was very lovely. We went to the massillon location for the first time tonight because I really wanted spaghetti and meatballs and Google said it was fairly close to where we were at that moment. Server was super friendly and prompt. I was disappointed in the appetizer prices. Both the cheese sticks and zucchini sticks were over $10. I can go to Taggarts or another place and pay $2-3 less for either and still have high quality. We opted not to get an appetizer. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The bread that came with the oil and spices was fabulous. I had wedding soup instead of salad. It was very very good. My entree was a little lack luster. The meatballs were homemade and fantastic. The marinera was not what I expected. It was a strange blend of watery and chunky. I could have done without the large chunks of not quite all the way peeled tomatoes. I expect a solid marinera to be thick and almost smooth. That said, it was filling. My husband got a chicken Caesar salad and was not impressed. It’s his favorite dish and he was very meh about it. Overall it wasn’t bad just not what I expected. Maybe we will be back to try something else? Not sure.

Bugsy’s is a restaurant which is not nearly as well known as it deserves to be. It’s got great atmosphere and décor, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is superb. I had the pasta pescatore. The sauce was flavourful with just the right amount of spice, the pasta had a good texture, and the seafood was fresh. The rest of my party also enjoyed their meals. I’d particularly commend the child’s pizza my son had, it was of a much higher quality than what you’ll find on a children’s menu at most places. Bugsy’s compares favourably with chain Italian places in both quality and price. We’ll definitely be back.

The restaurant was very nice and the service was good but I got the ribs they weren’t very good. I guess I should have gotten Italian what they know. It is pretty pricey too.The tiramisu was pretty good I’ve had better.
