In love with this place. Got the chicago dog and a gyro. Both were excellent. The chicago dog was only $3 and some change. The gyro was $5 and some change. Not bad at all for lots of food especially how prices are nowadays. The guy that was there was alone. He ran the counter, jumped in the back to cook and came out to do drive thru orders. He still took the time to chat with me. He is super friendly.

It was my first time there and the owner was so nice and friendly! He made me feel really comfortable my only complaint is that the fries that come with the Chicago Dog were not done and greasy other then that the food was good! Good atmosphere good place to go eat!

The only place in Southern Illinois I have found that has authentic Chicago style food. It’s cheap and delicious. There should be cars lined up around the corner here. But it’s never very busy.

Great Italian beef with a lot of beef. Handcut fries. A welcome taste of home as we were traveling from Memphis. Hubby had a Chicago Polish dog. Don was great as he did it all.

Yum! Anytime you get stuck at the tracks nearby is a great excuse to stop! Best Chicago dog this side of.. well.. Chicago! Go get ya some! And oh ya. The owner does everything himself! Super nice guy too.
