They are charging $3.75 to use a debit/credit card. I started checking other establishments, and most charged $1.00 to $1.50. They made an error in my order, so I got to pay it twice even though I complained. I’m still not sure how they came up with the price they charged me after looking at the menu I took home.

It was pretty good. I got the “hickory” plate w/ Ribeye and chopped pork, instead of ribs. Honestly, the amount of pork it came with wasn’t near worth the extra $10 it cost. The Ribeye was a lot thinner than I’m accustomed, but it taste pretty good. Maybe the standalone Ribeye was a bigger cut also? Overall a “good” experience, not life changing, nothing to write home about on this visit.

Just happened to stop by the other day and have lunch. Has a down home diner feel to it and there’s lots of ‘regulars’ that eat there. It was good, but not spectacular, but that doesn’t mean I won’t eat there again. It’s just your every day food. Filled me up.

Used to have the best hamburger and hamburger steak in town. Haven;t eaten here in a bout a year due to illness. Over $7 for the mini burger, patty dried out, patty doesn’t cover the bun. Won’t be back. After all these years, Buddy’s has finally gone to the dogs.

The great thing about living where I live is having restaurants that are staple in your community. Buddy’s is just such a place. My favorite things to order are the steak sandwich plate, hamburger steak plate and anything to do with breakfast. The coffee is always fresh and the tea is always strong. They have 50% seating capacity and all the staff are masked up. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are hungry and want some good food.
